What if the little pearls fall off on the soil and start to decay ? Are we to remove those ? Mine also has these little flea type bugs . I just bought it at Home Depot last week . It’s the only plant I own . Please help . Thank you
Hi, my "String of pearls" has darkened and the leaves have taken on the shape of hard lemons. Purple hues appeared on the stems. At the same time, the base of the stem looks quite healthy with regular green balls. Doesn't look like rotting. I water thoroughly as the soil dries out. Standing in diffused sunlight. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Get purple hues on stem with darkened on leaves when given strong light. Move the plant to a spot with bright, indirect light, avoiding direct sun. The hard, lemon-shaped leaves are a classic sign of severe underwatering, if it's very dry, give the plant a thorough watering, making sure the excess drains out the bottom.
Hi Could you please tell me why my senecio has small leaves ? Am i doing something wrong? Will they grow? I would like to see them bigger....Thank you for reply.
Pay close attention to the light level, watering, pot size, and nutrient deficiency! They need bright, indirect light, allowing the soil to partially dry out between waterings. If the plant is rootbound in a small pot, it may focus energy on root growth rather than leaf expansion. As long as the plant is otherwise healthy, the small leaves should grow larger over time as the plant matures. Be patient and monitor the care!
I brought a pearl from a plant show like a month or so ago I thought I had over watered her then I backed off now I decided to repot her she came out in pieces not as a ball what went wrong is she dead or can I revive her help please
Your plant might have root rot. Cut away any mushy parts, let the healthy pieces dry for a day or two, and then plant them in well-draining soil. Wait a week before lightly misting them. Place the plant in bright, indirect light, and let the soil dry completely between waterings. This should help revive your plant.
It seems like the ends of the strands get dry. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Also do I water from the top getting even the pears wet or from the bottom? This is all stressing me out 😢
I just got my first string of pearls , a gift from my sister :) it was a total surprise. Thank you for the video :)

I have one and she's doing wonderful. I so appreciate all the videos you do. I love succulents and I have learned so much from your channel.

So if it is a pest infestation what should I do? How do I treat it? Can I use the hydrogen peroxide diluted solution on it? I use this on other plants
depends on the pest.

My string of pearl is rotten. It's in my lanai. Maybe it's humid.
How many hours to bottom water a succlent
Hi, I think we should let the plant sit in the water for about 5-15 minutes or whenever you see that the soil is moist all the way to the top 🥰
Thank you 😊
