If I'm being honest, this is the first collection of Kaleidos that is making me consider trying out the brand. It is giving true cool-toned neutrals which is something cool-toned girlys desperately need in a world full of "neutrals" that actually run warm. A lot of people said this collection was too similar to the last one, but I think the nuances make them different enough in a way cool-toned lovers will appreciate the way warm-toned lovers appreciate having multiple warm-toned palettes. I might pick up Venus Trap and Pale Rose, so thank you Judy for the review!
i actually dont think its that similar to the previous at all! this one is all for the soft glam cool toned girlies 💕

I was really excited for this collection based on the concept photos. It seemed like it'd be a really beautiful take on all things rose but it turned out to be really pale shades which wouldn't flatter a lot of people. It definitely is a vibe and they delivered on the concept but I just wished there was a little more saturation or a few more options for us with tanner complexions
Agreed. I very much see what they were doing with this collection, but they really missed an opportunity with those blushes. I think this collection would have been better received if they'd offered 2-4 more blushes that would be compatible with more skin tones.
i understand where you're coming from! they do have other mono blushes that have more saturation that you might be interested in!
romand did the same thing with their recent blush release too, they came out with a whole collection of blushes that are def meant for ppl using #19 or lighter foundation lol; I think the difference was that they named their new collection the "Milk Series" so they made their intention known. if kaleidos did that, it would've been fine tbh
Kaleidos just has such an amazing concept every time! The packaging is my favorite. It's a flower shaped like a uterus, which is so rare to see.
I've been looking for a small neutral eyeshadow palette and seeing Venus Trap on you especially confirms it as my choice! It seems like wonderful neutral colors for a soft summer, and I love seeing you enjoy it so much even before you knew that was your color season!!
You're the only beauty guru that I trust. I bought some kaleidos products bc of your reviews (2 highlighters and a 5 pan palette) and they became my favorites. Def worth the splurge ❤ thanks for giving us honest and useful advice

Oh wow this is really up my street for winter time, especially those blush shades! I find most blushes are too intense/deep on me so these look perfect :)
I definitely like this collection. If the blushes show up at all on my complexion I would want these. I can not find barely there muted blushes. I have to use eyeshadows.

This collection is so perfect!!! I love all the muted tones! I didnt buy any kaleidos before because it appealed too much to the western market with the bright colors. But now I'll actually pick up some stuff from them in this collection. I also have light-medium skin tones and enjoy doing douyin makeup on my viet features 💜💜 literally so perfect

Would you be open to doing a comparison video for all the quad palettes? Its a little overwhelming with how many quads they have especially with how some are quite similar.

I wish you could swatch all the Kaleidos quads together or do some comparisons because I'm definitely interested in them but they have pretty subtle differences ❤❤
I had a feeling that you would be a creator who would love this collection! The collection has generated so much controversy, and I understand it, but it was so nice to watch someone review it who just loves it. I am very fair, so it all works for me. I purchased the dresser, Pale Rose blush, Last Smoke and Hot Pursuit glosses, and the Twilight Rush eyeshadow palette. I regret not getting Venus Trap when I could've taken advantage of the free shipping over USD$100. Next order! Very nice review of the collection, and wonderful looks created!

@@j.uuuuudy There was controversy in two ways really. Heard so many negative impressions from people that the collection was too similar to Night of Creation quads (but I don't think so with the swatches) so that they were being 'uncreative'. And that a lot of people thought the company were noninclusive because the shades chosen might not work well on darker complexions. Even though people acknowledged the other blush shades, they just wanted something new alongside the new collection (which is valid, I think the collection would have been great with a darker pink blush). Non of the new blush shades work for me either but I'm content on the real star of the show: the glosses!

I can't believe we're already on September. It's is my favorite month of the year for two reasons:
1) Hispanic Heritage Month (because I'm a Mexican-American. I was born in Texas, but my parents and grandparents (and all the generations before that) were all born in Mexico. I'm always very proud or my roots/heritage.) 🇺🇸🇲🇽
2) My birthday is on September 29th (I will be 22 years old this year.) 🥳🎂

they have other mono blushes from their previous collections - not same coloured packaging but still very pretty and in brighter shades :)
I've found this one blush from Colourpop is perfect on my tan skin. It's like a purple rose color. Honestly if they had a blush that matched parts of the outer packaging it would have hit for me.
some asian blushes look like they’re going too be too light for your skin tone but actually end up just looking soft, you’ll still see the color just in a very natural way! I’m fair skin so I can’t say from experience but i saw a tiktok once and the person testing it had tan skin so it may work for you!
I ordered a beautiful color I think would look great on darker skin colors called Sanguine. Check it out!
last smoke is so unique for a lip gloss shade! haven’t seen brands coming out with such a shade in a while it’s always been pinks nudes or red

I wish they had 1-2 darker blushes in this collection. So few people can wear any of these since only fair/light skinned people can wear them.
so true, however they do have other mono blushes in deeper/brighter shades!

they dont have taste but does have a very very sublte plumping effect

This collection was honestly a huge disappointment for me personally. I was expecting more muted pink vibes when the packaging was teased, but that’s not exactly what we’re getting here. To me, these quads are too similar to the previously released quads by them. The glosses do have some appeal to them, but I was underwhelmed overall…
I absolutely love the second look. I think the brand got a lot of hate because of the non inclusive tones of the blushes and while i can barely use them myself i still think it was a bit too much. I mean they offer deeper shades in the previous collection (some of which would be way too deep for an asian skin tone for example) so i get what everyone s saying i still don t think they deserved the whole hate they got tho… imho
i actually had no idea about it! tbh kaleidos is a chinese brand and this collection defs targets more of their east asian market compared to their previous collections so i actually like the tones of this but i can see why people wouldn't be so happy.
