This is the first of your videos I've seen, and I just want to say that I really enjoyed and appreciate the level of detail you went into for this review. All of the individual shots of everything, the swatches, the beautiful makeup looks (the Black Swan and Spring makeup looks were gorgeous), and all of your commentary.... just perfect. This was exactly the kind of review I was hoping to find. I happened to find out about the Swan Ballet collection when I was looking up makeup looks for a ball I'm planning to attend (I'm going as the White Swan!) I'm definitely excited to incorporate products from this collection into my costume for the masquerade. Also, you're super pretty and I love your outfit!
According to a Chinese beauty influencer who works with FK on their formulations, the blush is actually a whole new formula and the difference is supposedly the lack of of a powdery look when layering the blushes over and over again. I don’t know if the formulation technique is new or not, but if I remember correctly it’s actually baked but at an extremely low temperature.
@@joleneong8173 they help brighten and “fill” areas such as your under eyes if they look hollow or sunken. A lot of Xiaohongshu and douyin creators use them to make there skin look more plump and healthy, please to use a lighter less saturated shade if you have a light to medium skin tone (I don’t have a deeper skin tone so I can’t comment on that) and not a more popular bright/saturated fuchsia or plum that are more popular in the west. Personally I recommend judydoll as they have blush duos that ave both blue or purple but also a peach or pink that compliments them!
I actually really liked the first shade of the blushes! It gives a ghastly/ghostly dreamy misty look. I'm actually quite into this look haha. I absolutely didn't plan on ordering from the brand, I was just here to see the pretty things and support your channel by watching the video, but this blush I really like! I might go check it.

THANK YOU for always doing such in depth reviews. My only issue with FK is that beyond their packaging, their products/looks always end up looking quite samey, particularly the blushes. I love their packaging, so I do want to collect them but I can generally achieve quite identical looks with their previous releases. Hoping to see single highlighters and glowy blushes from them.

I'm not Judy but I have a lot of their products and I think they do blush and eyeshadow really well, and their liquid liner is the best I've ever used. I'm a pale muted girl and they have some of the only blushes I can use as they're not so intense which I really like, but I don't think they're great for darker skintones. Their eyeshadow blends really easily and their glitters are so fine and sparkly. The mermaid liner does. not. budge. I wore it all through summer here and it was flawless all day - though don't get the pink sparkly one, get the Flortte silkworm pen instead as the Flower Knows one just kind of makes you look a bit wet, it's not super glittery. Their lip creams are gorgeous, they do fade throughout the day but they fade really evenly so you never have that weird patchy moment with them. I have some of their glosses on the way but haven't tried them yet, though I hear the mermaid one is better than the unicorn one as it's less sticky and stains better, though if you want a big gloss moment rather than something a little more subtle go for the unicorn. I personally don't like the formula of the lipsticks, it's too melty for me and feels too hard to control, but I've seen other people love it. I don't think their mascara is worth it though, it didn't really do much length or volume-wise for me. I do think their powder is lovely but unless you're in love with the packaging you can get powder just as good or better for the same price point or cheaper. Hope this helps a bit!!
@@douyinmake_up I'm not super experimental, so I use the Celestial Castle mermaid one the most as an every day neutral palette, the glitter really elevates it. I know Judy's said she uses the Strawberry Rococo Sweet Canneles one as a neutral palette but it pulled orange on my skin tone, so if yours is more similar to Judy's than my pale neutral Caucasian one, that might work better for you! Champs Misty Rose from the Strawberry collection is my favourite pink one, the glitter in that is so pretty. If you're a fan of colour though I think the mermaid palettes are the most vivid for that!

I already got my Swan Ballet items but I loved your video to see if I wanted to get more blushes or lippies! I'm not crazy on the lippies just because I'm more of a matte girl, and for their glosses I prefer the unicorn collection's formula (although the Mermaid collection's formula is not too bad too). Considering getting the peachy colour for the blush. LOVE your look for the black swan palette! I wouldn't use that one since I wouldn't use it that often and I ended up getting the pink swan palette and the glitters are CRAZY! I love them so much.
I was waiting for this video from you. I got the mermaid full set collection because of your review and I was not disappointed. I do agree about the drawers because even for the mermaid dresser the bottom drawer for me is hard to pull out smoothly. I'm most likely going to purchasing this swan ballet full set in December as a gift to myself. Its a bummer that the dresser can't be purchased separately.

Im white as a sheet and there is no pigment...Im trying to use it for color correcting Eyeshadow Palette Nr. 2 in pink: This is my absolute favourite eyeshadow palette from the brand. Especially this kind of duochrome-shade 10/10 (I am now considering to get the white swan palette as well) Eye glitter in silver: meh, Im not the biggest fan of silver but as it was part of the set it is what it is One thing I recently noticed (also for the mermaid collection), the pictures clearly state that it comes in the box and with extras. I havent received anything, not even the box which was super disappointing :(
As a former ballerina I’ve recently learned I have a pet peeve when people say ‘corset’ instead of ‘tutu’ (yes I looked this up to make sure I got the name right) same with the ballet slipper ribbons being called lace ups. Just a pet peeve of mine but this was great and pretty video overall and now I kinda want some flowers knows makeup purely for the aesthetic 😅

Oh and the glossy lipsticks are film forming too so if you let it sit for a bit it’ll turn glossier.
