My favorite thing about Cult Sim is how they managed to make a simplified version of Atomic Theory for the Formula Fissive.
I agree that it's brilliant that the epitome of forge worship ends up being a nuclear device - I think it's especially fascinating that the cultists manage to get where humanity got to but through an entirely different path, by having to utilise the invisible arts

As I said before in Histories long gone, your style of videos is truly fascinating. While Forge probably won't be added to the kaleidoscope of abilities of my Necromancer for dnd, it will be truly wonderful how this can shape (wink) an Artificer of mine. Hm, what could he be other than Forge? Perhaps Lantern? Or Edge? I eagerly wait for the next lore you'll provide. I am an eager student of the Hours, Histories and more, as you can see. :)

As we've discussed, all lores can tie into others - if the artificer is involved with creating automatons at all (ranging from the Rick and Morty butter-passer to something like a warforged) that could invoke degrees of grail and heart. If they're concerned with the more magical side of artifice I could definitely see Lantern, Knock, and Moth being involved. You have an awful lot of freedom to tie in the secret histories!

A wonderful video, I'm very excited for the remaining aspects. I love this setting and it's games, in part because I constantly feel like I'm understanding more of it. Would you consider making further videos on topics within the setting, such as how death works, or the secrets of Hush House?
I may be biased but I can't wait for the St. Hydra/Secret Histories video. Assuming it's even on the docket anyway.
That Forge can subvers Lantern is a small reflection of the Intercalate. Fire breaking light, just to end up in pain of the knives. I wonder of the circle of subversion was so in the time bevor the sun, the time of stone.
This is speculation on my part, but since AK has said that the principles are the primal forces of the world I would suspect that lore subversion would have worked the same way. Perhaps if there's an implication that everything was fundamentally different when the carapace cross were the dominant species then that would imply that the lores would interact differently, too.
@@HandsomeLib I think the fprces are the same, even when their form changes. For example i think lantern was once something less sophisticated, like light oder candle. Or like the aspect of forge was part of the hour flint.
But if subversion always where possible is an interesting questions. For that are not rules of how the world is or was, but of how the world changes and interact.
An i think in this world most occult elements are absolut but the way they interact can change.
And with the Lithomachy the aspect of one hour not only defeting but consuming and subverting others could be a new concept.
Would fit, that the stones dont chance, but the flesh does. Especially as humans can and are subverting lore to further their asend.
I have to read again about the carapace cross if theire are info about their rites. As far as i know the did not subert but assimialte with their savour-secret and became hybrides.
All connecting to the fall of the wheel, which has moth and hear. Change and preservation, which would seem that you could change but only by staying the same.
With Moth consuming the wheel and taking its skin and dividing moth from heart, change can know happen without preservation.
But thats all just ideas. I love this lore so much and i like that you dabbel into this. looking forward to more videos of yours.
