About JC: wjen hersault calls him a worm, he refers to "birds of a feather" and "worms of a scale". These are 2 factions of long who have been in eternal war with one another. The birds believe that mortals must serve the hours, and venerate the watchman's pilgrimage as being the true ascension of humanity. The worms are opposite, and reject the glory and hours, believing that the mansus is humanity's for the taking. Hersault calls JC a "worm of worms" not in relation to the world worms, but the worms of a scale. Hersault called him tbis because of their differing views on Janus. Hersault believed Janus was all the gods, whereas JC believed Janus was none of the gods.
Do you know where I can read more about this? I have heard about the bird/worm war (I think) as a part of the ARG that Weather Factory did, but I haven't been able to find any good sources on what was found as a part of it

there are some books that discuss it in book of hours, but i read them towards the start of my tenure as librarian so i can't possibly remember which books they were
These are great videos, please keep it up! I know a good amount of Cultist Sim/Book of Hours lore but I always enjoy seeing people make videos about it :)
Got here from Weather Factory subreddit - was pleasantly surprised by the quality and depth of your work! Also love your voice, very soothing. Perhaps you can speak just a tad slower so that we can keep up better? Just a suggestion though, looking forward to the Heart Lore video where my allegiance lies.
Thank you for the kind words - I'll take that on board, I haven't yet found the proper balance for a lot of this stuff so that kind of advice will definitely help me get there :)
I think they are, but I'm not sure how exactly - since Witch worms are a curse and the overall importance of the word, "Worm" I don't think it's a huge stretch for them to be related. I've interpreted witch Worms to be kind of like Watch worms from CS , perhaps related to the larval stage of Worms of the World
Think the Axe ha an Enmity with the Coils and it became Winter because it lost it's corrival and purpose Edit: Either Knock or Lantern. Gonna go with Knock since it's called the aspect above all
I was enjoying the lore info and tying together all the bits in CS and BoH but don't care for AI image use. I'd prefer just plain doodling or something else with personal style.
I thought the watchman was cruel? at the very least he is not compassionate direct quote about the watchman from the weather factory website: “Who illuminates; who navigates; who is not compassionate”
The Watchman is merciless, and never compromises. I believe the way that that should be interpreted, is that while he will never perform a kind act, he will also never perform a malicious act. That is what I mean when I say he is not unkind - I think it's more accurate to say that he's apathetic, as mortal struggles will be completely below him. His light guides the way, and it is entirely up to you to follow it. If you lose the light, or lose yourself to fascination, he won't help you return, but he won't interrupt you.

In CultSim I never gave the Madrugad much care, but Book of Hours really made me like them.
Julian Coseley mentioned, 10/10 video!
The Moth, of course. The moth is the base of the skull; the Moth is the buzzing in the brain; the Moth is Change- and what is ascension if not change?

great video! can't wait for moth

Witch worms are different from the Worms right? If not, then holy crap the librarian of Hush House is truly deranged.
