Interesting, I haven’t seen any other channels doing what I’ve done, what are they called? Background noise is a difficult one - I’m not trained in any kind of audio engineering and I’m very against spending any money on UA-cam since I’m confident I won’t be making a single cent from it. I did spend a lot of time cleaning up the audio in the ways I could, but if you can point me towards any good tutorials (or anything else) I would appreciate it

@@HandsomeLib @aditopian is the other guy that made some good cultist lore videos. On the audio question, yeah that is something I have also my problems in the few projects I have done, sadly not much I can say on it and not much I know. I could go and ask some sound people I know, at the moment my best guess would as good as any sadly. It is appreciated by me how much time goes into cleaning audio, truly. Just wanted to let you know there is some left that can be noticable, but it is not "horrible", after the first two or three videos I tuned it out.

They’re a very niche and unapproachable subject, I think - I doubt these videos will ever hit more Mainstream popularity but I’m hoping the niche can be filled just a little bit

Thank you - the purpose of it is so that there’s something on the screen rather than the background, and for some of the more abstract explanations there isn’t anything in-game that could be used for it. I experimented with stock photos and using more memes but in my opinion it threw off the tone of the sections I would have used them in quite severely

Once the game is completed, I think a revisit of TCAL will occur - if nothing else I’ve learned a fair bit about audio and video production that I would be able to apply to it

@@HandsomeLib The Wolf Divided has Malevolents instead of Long in the same way Meniscate has Reflections instead of Long to denote their more strange natures. Malevolents are basically people who have sworn themselves towards the Wolf's goal of ending everything.

Using any of the Threshers of Thoughts produced Knock Lore, not only Ezeem. It would also have known about the FoD since she became an hour in the same event as the RG, I don’t see how Ezeem wouldn’t have known. That being said, since it specifically says “Her arms were fewer” then you could well be right, the Mother of Ants being a God from Flesh would make a lot more sense in terms of meeting a Name pre-ascension

It’s tough, my expectation is that “Secret Histories” won’t have much meat by itself since there is just not a lot to talk about regarding it - whether that means that I would instead do a video about the five new powers combined or separate videos for each one is something I won’t be sure about until I start writing about one of them. In general I feel that the new powers are not as fleshed out as the aspects from Cult Sim, and we don’t get many stories relating to them since the Librarians are always very holistic in their approach to the invisible arts. That being said, I don’t expect it’ll be that long before I either have to make a decision or start making videos that are more than just Lore overviews

I’m interested as to what JC’s ideal setup for the Mansus really would be. I think there’s limited evidence that he’s seeking a return of Gods From Stone (specifically one named Snow), but we don’t have much information about it afaik

@@HandsomeLib I’d personally like a Mansus of black nephrite, the perfect city is the one unbuilt. I don’t feel that J.C. would want the gods from stone, they’re just an older flavor of tyrant, especially The Wheel, that damn ceaseless wheel.

Interesting, when reading up about it I saw claims on the wikis that the Iron Wolf referred to in-game was a group of Axis collaborators in Lithuania - doing my own research led me to believe there were wider connotations but I hadn’t come across that particular story

I noted this and tried to make things louder in my latest video - when listening back on my PC and phone it sounds normal to me - I only have secondhand headphones and I keep my volume at about 30 and didn’t have any issues there. hopefully it’ll be resolved if I stick to what I tried doing in my new video :)

Exactly, Heart is probably the most benign lore to an observer, but learning about it reveals that it’s as dark as any other
