They don't as they are a waste of time. PS4 has no air intake on the underside of the console. All air is taken in through the vents on the front and sides.
Got the first gen PS4 when it first came out. Eventually buying a remote storage for it. I've always ran a box fan near it to keep it cool. I've never heard the internal fan at full rpm. Ive cleaned it internally only a couple times. It still works as it did when I got it in 13.

I hate vibration and some games don't have the option of turning them off and it is also annoying to change every game setting to off. This is an amazing tip. Thank you. I made my own raised platform for my PS4 Pro to help with cooling, out of the cardboard tube in the middle of the toilet paper roll/ kitchen paper roll long enough to make 4 upright tubes of approx 3 inches / 75mm in height and a cardboard cereal box. Cut out a triangular notch approx 1inch/25mm at the top of each of the toilet roll tubes then make 4 triangular scaffolds approx 1 inch /25mm in width (3 inches in total then folded into the triangle scaffold) out of the cereal box and fit them into the notches, tape them into each corner of the toilet rolls so they are secure and don't move about, a very simple and very cheap way to help with the cooling for your Playstation or any other console.

Unless it's a fighting game, this is unnecessary and pointless, then again you have lag with internet communication so your lag shouldn't be noticeable from controller to game unless it's a terribly unoptimized game. Probably not. May be some dirt and grime in your analog sticks. You would have to tear down your Controller and open the 2 latches of the analgo stick. This could need some cleaning. Did tha myself several times and worked 100%. But i cant guarantee for anything. There are some tutorials online.
I used to do that too. But usually its not a long time fix. Its not that hard, maybe you give it a shot. You just have to be careful and you will be good.
If your controller has persistent and constant centering or drift issues, this most likely means you need to CLEAN the controller contacts. Resetting the functionality is for simple calibrations are more importantly, connectivity.

What causes the fan to kick on high gear on the PS4 apart from dust is that a lot of games have unlimited frame rate which pushes the console hardware to it's limits. Cleaning the console and replacing the thermostat paste helps some what but it won't solve the issue.
one last thing, you can add USB hub port to your ps4, it cost like around 8 $ and of course it has a stable power consumption, since it's only take like small power consumption, unless you charge 4 controller at same time. 2 controller charge only while playing is okay

I just used some rubber washers and lifted my console up. I also placed a 9 inch clip can to blow the hot air from under it away and cool it better.
This is all basic stuff that most gamers would be aware of 😂

and of course it has a stable power consumption, since it's only take like small power consumption, unless you charge 4 controller at same time.
2 controller charge only while playing is okay
I don’t use PlayStation but love the vids
I use hockey pucks to help the airflow. It really works tho
