Ye landed on your feet when Lee joined the crew
Cheers for the shout out out 👍👍 there is an easy way to to get the brake expander out not like u did 👍
Yeah! Remove the large dowel which the caliper fits around. Hope they pressed in the new oil seals with the hole's at the bottom so any oil goes down and out not on to the linings!😫
I would have left it yellow too.. Sometimes you just have to look at things as they used to be, it obviously did industrial work somwhere, so only right to give it back its clothes... Feels right and looks right..
Lee is a handy man to have in the team
Your Uncle would be so happy.
There’s enough of red ones around (including mine) it’s on the Taxbook as yellow and it’s history, it was yellow when your late uncle would have seen it. Looking forward to seeing it grow back into a tractor now. And it’ll be available for a few light duties seeing as ye did the right thing and went for a full rebuild. Onwards and upwards gents.
Good decicion keeping the yellow paint on her, it will look stunning when finished :) And hats off for Lee, doing a fantastic job :) And Father Phil as the mastermind of it all :) But did you think it through, as your mother are watching the videos? ;)
Great update Phil. So lucky to have Lee at base working away on the 1200 while ye are at slurry. Looking forward to see progress
Every farm should have a Lee! 😀
Is lee a full time mechanic on the farm?
Father phil is a genius. You would learn so much from him if someone was intrested.
Infairness phil is learning a bit about repairs but the advice id give is keep your ears and eyes open because father is a very clever man and alot could be learnt.
@@lefthandontop426not a full time mechanic a would say he has been at some point but he does a bit of everything
@gregshearer423 a good lad to have around the place. Father phil would of saved huge money over the years maintaining and repairing most of the machinery thats why its so important to try learn as much as you can. If you were to pay for all the repairs and maintenance it wouldnt pay ya.
Nice to see the progress. Hopefully ye will never have to see inside the backend again.
A lovely shade of yellow
Hi Phill I have purchased a Massey 1250 from a power station and it has been painted white and it's stopping white as it's part of it's History I'm doing a basic cosmetic restoration.I think keeping yours yellow is the way to go to 👍
Assume that's the one ex Norway?
Tell Father Phil age is honorable and that why he gets the comfortable chair and you and Lee do the grafting .
Really enjoyed the video, Phil. I'm glad to see the 1200 coming on . Well done, you've a brilliant team 👍
Great video Phil. Father Phil deserves a break by the fire. Enjoyed watching 👍🏼👍🏼
Great video. Lee is pulling his weight as usual… a few hours every day during the month of February should see all the big bits back together. Keep up good work.

Enjoyed that video Father Phil knows his stuff and Lee also you all take part doing jobs. The 1200 will look great when it's done. Falther Phil needs his chair so he can rest between jobs.
Hope you cleaned out the ash master before bringing it back into the house 😂
Good luck men.

Ambitious at the rate he buys them😂😂
Will the semi mounted plough be put going on her
That’s the plan
Are you going to the sfm show in cavan on Wednesday or Thursday
We’ll be going but not sure what day yet
👍
What ever happened Robert
Having full time help with Lee left us needing Robert less as he has a full time job in a local garage
No. Not yellow, I worked on these in the early 80s in a massey dealership in northern Ireland and never seen a yellow one before . Muir hills were yellow
She’ll be Fastrac yellow n black
Nice one Phil, Fr. Phil and Lee
It's never too late to do the right thing, get a can of red paint and let her be an MF
If you like yellow get a Muir Hill or a Fastrac
My dad used to say
He also serves who only stands and waits
In the case of farther Phil
It’s
He also serves who only sits and waits !!!
😅😅😅😅😅
👌👌🙏🙏👍👍🇮🇪🇮🇪
Yellow Submarine
Yellow Submarine 😅😅
Everyone thinks father phil knows everything..he doesn't know much about taking brakes apart..completely the wrong way to remove callipers ..just take out the big round pin
was just going to say the same, was stripping those down when i was 18
Same here..started working in a garage when I was 18
Yeah and the oil seals have a hole in them which puts any oil that can weep through go downwards and not into the brake linings. Seen a fair few in wrong!
Exactly!
Do ye ever get sick of missing deadlines? I'd say a more realistic deadline is next Christmas!!! Ho Ho Ho
