This film brings to the screen the indigenous folk forms of dancing belonging to different regions of this vast country. The famous Rasa Lila and Garba dances of Gujrat, the sword dance of Kulu, the traditional Velakali dance of Kerala, the Manipuri dance in eastern India and some of the folk dances in vogue in the Deccan, Kashmir and Rajasthan are shown in this film. The last sequences of the film shows the Bhangra dance from Punjab.
