Cheers mate. It’s the way to go for mine. There’s more of that to come for sure. As I get freed up personally, this channel is going to make that even more of a focus. Cheers for this comment in particular:)
Well done john to share your knowledge on different species is such a valuable piece of information to any angler.but to give even more like u did to the sons and daughters of them mum's and dads involved in the classic is such a generous and kind gesture from the heart.👍I've fished since a young grommet and I still learn new and differ things from ya vids well done mate👍
Your enthusiasm is infectious mate. Great to see so many kids out there benefiting from your generosity, I can see that many of them will be hooked for the future.
A really great video. Raw emotions washed over the boat as large flatties & even non-targetted fish were caught & landed. The brothers clearly enjoyed the event & the 2020 Classic must be in their fishing calendar. Thanks for sharing your experiences. An inspiration for others considering participation in the 2020 Classic. Meanwhile, I have been inspired to wet a line over the next few days.
Hi buddy ! What's the power of your engine mate ? horses ? please because I just bought a dinghy a week ago about the same size than yours and I was wondering which engine I should put on it ?
Hey bro. It’s a 25 Hp but I had a Quintrex builder reinforce and upgrade parts of the hull and transom to cope with the bigger hp. It was well worth doing cause of the batteries and weight all added up. ;)
Great work Johnny. Do you have your point score and where you and your brother placed? Your last day efforts must have propelled you up the list. Thanks for your effort and enthusiasm, Flatties are the best!
Hey Gary, we didn’t check the scores to be honest and our second day was so big we didn’t lodge a sheet and just got home early. We weren’t even close to the mastery of that Comp in honesty. It didn’t really matter though cause we were stoked with what we caught in the end and the action we saw. Boy I’ve learnt a tonne from that Comp. I’m gonna fish with a few of the lads that work the numbers for scoring fish like bosses and capture some of that in the coming months. Stay tuned ;)
I just love how excited you get while fishing it's inspirational. I just wanted to say thank you for getting me out on the water. I caught my PB on a swim bait just yesterday. It's only a 67 cm. But you have to start somewhere, and I have plenty of room to improve. 👍
Your stealing all the fish in my cannal😂 If you go deeper into the canal theres a small sandbank and a little pocket of water surrounded by trees Smallest fish i’ve caught in there is 68cm 🤫
Well done John, love people who give back to and share with the community......

Should have thrown 70-90mm divers like sugar deeps or double clutch always slays them over the flats when nothing else will
