I've just got a 3 pack of the S40+ ball and there brilliant! They have alot of spin to them compared to other 3 star balls which I love for service

Nittaku premium 40+ is still the king of plastic ball when it comes to feel and play. Speed and spin is accurate.
DHS D40+ is 2nd best and more durable as compared to Nittaku premium.

Are DHS D40+ really that good? They are not seamless.

@@D4N1011011 DHS D40+ are made of ABS plastic material and is appreciated by many players. ABS plastic is durable and doesn't break easily. So, even though DHS D40+ is seamed ball, it has proven to be pretty durable. The performance of this ball doesn't dwindle until the first 6hrs of play. Has a good balance between speed and spin compared to other ABS balls (I have tested Sanwei 40+ pro, Yinhe H40+, Stiga perform).

But D40+ by playing quality/durability for cost now has no contenders(6 times cheaper than s40+)

Thanks vor all the reviews, I am an All-ever-looking-TT-Video-junkie, u got one of the best channels.
For the S40+ I agree with you, i hate the G40.
I tried the S40+ two weeks ago and ordered after 2 hours.
It is consistant, grisp and plays like Celluloid for me.
It is allready the best for defenders, we tried it since last week.
    Great ball to play with!

You guys made a great point, one I have notice in the plastic ball era more than the celluloid era, If you train with other better feeling balls and end up in a competition with this thing you will notice the difference. Personally I hate butterfly balls, for some reason they can’t make decent balls, maybe they are trying to sell their rubbers by making balls that only their rubbers can spin. Hmm.

  • @KoreanRedDragon

Yep, this is definitely the kind of video I like to see. Could even go more in-depth with what areas of the game and styles of play each different ball favours! And maybe see what it takes to break one, hehe.
I haven't tried too many plastic balls yet so far, mostly been playing with the Joola Prime (seamed), which has been nice, very white and coarse, pretty heavy and I guess not that fast. But it actually stays grippy very long, well after the initial chalky stuff is gone, though the logo fades more quickly than I've seen on any other ball. But I do like 'em, personally.
Out of the older plastic balls, I've also had the seamless Hanno ones, which were nice and very round, and felt like they bounced forever. But I guess those are pretty old now, I haven't had a fresh one in 2+ years.

  • @Sa1d1n

Found the couple of S40s we bought were extremely unreliable. Of 12 balls, only about 2 lasted longer than a single training session. We tried using them during a match and went through 3 in 7 games. So our experience has been really poor on the reliability side

i'm already playing S40+ in my club for 1 month. It's better than G40+, more spin, less speed. It's more similar to DHS D40+. But there is a but.... S40+ is twice more expensive than G40+. For me still DHS D40+ is the best ball second is Tibhar.
