i used the s40 in the recent tournament that i played in and i myslef played much better as i found countering effortless (great quality video guys well done)
Nittaku premium 40+ is still the king of plastic ball when it comes to feel and play. Speed and spin is accurate. DHS D40+ is 2nd best and more durable as compared to Nittaku premium.
@@D4N1011011 DHS D40+ are made of ABS plastic material and is appreciated by many players. ABS plastic is durable and doesn't break easily. So, even though DHS D40+ is seamed ball, it has proven to be pretty durable. The performance of this ball doesn't dwindle until the first 6hrs of play. Has a good balance between speed and spin compared to other ABS balls (I have tested Sanwei 40+ pro, Yinhe H40+, Stiga perform).
Thanks vor all the reviews, I am an All-ever-looking-TT-Video-junkie, u got one of the best channels. For the S40+ I agree with you, i hate the G40. I tried the S40+ two weeks ago and ordered after 2 hours. It is consistant, grisp and plays like Celluloid for me. It is allready the best for defenders, we tried it since last week. Great ball to play with!
You guys made a great point, one I have notice in the plastic ball era more than the celluloid era, If you train with other better feeling balls and end up in a competition with this thing you will notice the difference. Personally I hate butterfly balls, for some reason they can’t make decent balls, maybe they are trying to sell their rubbers by making balls that only their rubbers can spin. Hmm.
Yep, this is definitely the kind of video I like to see. Could even go more in-depth with what areas of the game and styles of play each different ball favours! And maybe see what it takes to break one, hehe. I haven't tried too many plastic balls yet so far, mostly been playing with the Joola Prime (seamed), which has been nice, very white and coarse, pretty heavy and I guess not that fast. But it actually stays grippy very long, well after the initial chalky stuff is gone, though the logo fades more quickly than I've seen on any other ball. But I do like 'em, personally. Out of the older plastic balls, I've also had the seamless Hanno ones, which were nice and very round, and felt like they bounced forever. But I guess those are pretty old now, I haven't had a fresh one in 2+ years.
All round performance, consistancy, durability vs cost D40+ seems to be a winner. But interesting about the speed of this s40+. Might give it a try....
Thanks for the Video! My area selected the double fish V40+ (pink logo not the old one red logo) as the competition ball, I would like to know the different in between them
Found the couple of S40s we bought were extremely unreliable. Of 12 balls, only about 2 lasted longer than a single training session. We tried using them during a match and went through 3 in 7 games. So our experience has been really poor on the reliability side
Loved the video can you please send me a link to the ball because I can’t find the same as you and how many balls are in the case you had please and thank you very much😊👍🏼🏓
haha crack me up at 10:05 dan: "thats the ball i like!" Tom: "the fifth ball?" Dan: "yeh, when i can just go power it's fantastic!" haha great stuff guys. Good to see comparison with other balls
i'm already playing S40+ in my club for 1 month. It's better than G40+, more spin, less speed. It's more similar to DHS D40+. But there is a but.... S40+ is twice more expensive than G40+. For me still DHS D40+ is the best ball second is Tibhar.
If you want this kind of faster, heavier and harder ball, get TSP CP40+ *** it got all things these balls have plus insane amount of rotation for plastic ball
@@TableTennisDaily We use DHS D40+ here too, it's also good. And I've tested a few days ago Butterfly A40+. Dou you know the difference from S40+ to A40+? Love your videos guys!
ashish sinha like they said, if you train with other better feeling balls and end up in a competition with this thing you will notice the differences. Personally I hate butterfly balls, for some reason they can’t make decent balls, maybe they are trying to sell their rubbers by making crap balls that only their rubbers can spin. Hmm.
Thanks for watching guys! Let us know in the comments what your favourite plastic ball is 🔥
the quality of your recent videos is just great! i especially liked that you also compared it to other popular balls. keep em coming! thanks
Thanks appreciate it!
I've just got a 3 pack of the S40+ ball and there brilliant! They have alot of spin to them compared to other 3 star balls which I love for service

Are DHS D40+ really that good? They are not seamless.

But D40+ by playing quality/durability for cost now has no contenders(6 times cheaper than s40+)

Could You do a 1 Set showdown against the guys from pongfinity
Ferdinand Busch they will have to travel a long distance
Adam bobrow did that and Dan lives in America too

Great video guys! All best for you
Been playing with world cup DHS D40 lately. These balls are pretty good. Infact, feels better over nittaku premium.
2:00 "There you are Tom, i know you're good at inspecting balls!" 😂

Hey guys. It would be pretty interesting if you could show how good this ball is for defenders.
DHS balls rock, excellent value for the money!
Please make a review of the new R40+ ball by Butterfly
I prefer the Stiga Perform or the DHS D40+. I play in a Butterfly sponsored club so I'm really hoping that the horrible G40+ gets replaced soon.
Thanks for the Video! My area selected the double fish V40+ (pink logo not the old one red logo) as the competition ball, I would like to know the different in between them

Please do a review of the DIGNICS 05 😉👋

T05 vs 05 Hard vs Dignics !
Durability Approved! Nice ball!
Interesting, most people I know HATE the g40+ with a passion, personally I don't really mind any of then except the g40+, haven't tried this one yet
G40+ is by far the worst ball on the market. I really hope that it will be completely replaced by S40+. It can only get better.

10 balls in that box there.
XuShaoFa is still being used is most tournaments in New England, so no point in playing with anything else.
It about time you guys play with ABS balls..
@@Julottt once the tournaments change to ABS, I'll do the same
Can you show us how to use short pips?☺
Could you please review bluestorm rubbers and also ovtcharov no. 1 blade?
You pretty much never review donic :/

Watching you two try out a tabletennis ball. It's Friday evening, 9.41... Teenage me would rage if he would have known...
It seems all ABS balls are similar but i like very much cornilleau evolution *** balls but maybe because i'm french. ;D
which ball is the best for spins.. for like snake shot so the ball really spins
I have the g40
Hopefully no competitions will involve G40 balls ever again. They were horrible. A40 is really nice so S40 should be good hopefully
very good
That‘s an awesome video👍
Butterfly balls are really bad. The worse plastic ball that exists in my opinion
xoshaofa is better
If you want this kind of faster, heavier and harder ball, get TSP CP40+ *** it got all things these balls have plus insane amount of rotation for plastic ball
Topic suggestion: how has equipment changed and/or how have players changed the equipment they choose to use, in response to the plastic ball?
fight vs pongfinity
Daisy? ?
Stag Peter Karlsson 40+ 3* is the best ball
Just wondering is it legal to play without the grip on a table tennis racquet
without rubber you mean? no have got to have rubber on both sides of your bat
@@Joost721 oh what I meant is can you play without the red and black part of the bat but with the yellow spongy part
no you can not, like i just said you need a red and a black rubber on your bat
@@Joost721 thanks man
Thats not correct..You can have just one rubber if you play penhold and paint the other side..
I have got this ball
Should have compared it to the A40+. The G40+ is no longer a player.
There was the A40+ before this one, G40+ is really old.
Joola Flash is my fave
Thats a old seamless one from Joola.
@@Julottt It is old but I like it
Lovely♥️
Japan or Germany, hmmm what should i choose? lol
Dhs d40+
I have that boll
Gomen Nani ittterukawakaranai.
Roughness of the ball affecting the bounce height? lol
I hate the g40 I like double fish. I get some s40 and try them.

Nittaku premium 40+ 3***. Need say no more.
