I had no idea what was in store for me. Damn dude. These jumps almost wiped me out. I passed with a C. First try. Barely. Definitely a tough 15
I recently cleared this at the arcade. This is a 15 unlike anything else I've played in the Expert 15s. Kept reminding myself it's just streams that are slightly faster than MAX 300 and carefully plan where I'll jump next. Not gonna lie, hitting those 16th jumps does feel satisfying.
The steps aren't so hard, it's just so damn draining. I feel like both DIFFICULT and EXPERT singles Doubles charts should be 12 and 16. Even this chart looks harder than OTP DIFFICULT.

BSB should be a 16 and LTR should be labeled a 15 when the two are compared. The Difficult versions of each chart are labeled correctly, though at 12 and 13 respectfully (although I'd argue that pt.2 LTR's difficult chart is def one of the more gnarlier 13s and could stand to be labeled a 14 or even a 15). But the Experts are definitely mislabeled. Perhaps they'll fix it in a future update or future version of the game.
The problem with this is the length and how absurdly repetitive it sounds. Max 300 SMMM and para hades dsp are fine because they at least have different sounds to keep me somewhat more entertained than this

THIS SHOULD BE A 17 HONESTLY. THOSE SIX JUMPS AT 1:03 ARE HORRIBLE. I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS (disclaimer: "17" was a comedic exaggeration but Ow)

The jumps start to wear you down after a while. It's a 15 as far as patterns go, but you need 16 level stamina. I'll admit that it feels super draining for a 15

I recommend doing this one as a first or second stage, or doing it as a final stage if you pick more moderately paced songs as your first and second stage. Pacing and breathing is everything with this song.
Yeah, as tiring as this chart is, it's not particularly fast or tricky enough (except maybe steps 495-525) to be a 16. I actually do about the same or better on this compared to other 15s. Depends what you're good at, though. For example I think Sakura is rated correctly at 13 but others say it's too easy.
Agreed, I can do Saber Wing Satellite Sillouette, Akira Ishihara Headshot, Max 300, Horatio, and Knight of Knights perfectly fine, but I can't even make it through the first half of this chart.
It's literally jump, single note, jump, single note, jump, and 2 skips. A rly simple pattern when you get used to it. Don't let the freeze arrows fool ya

i dont transfer my foot from the freeze if i were you. use the other foot to hit the 8th note that comes out as the freeze ends. or even, the freeze arrows are just an illusion and you dont have to leave your foot on it. its a very short freeze so youre more than likely to get the score from it completely even if you tapped it lightly as if you were hitting a jump thats not a freeze
If you see the original IIDX chart (came out with Resort Anthem a decade ago), the chart has a lot of scratch spam. It's part of the 灼熱(Shakunetsu aka Burning) series so any song from that series is meant to make you feel a burn in some way. In IIDX you feel the burn from all the scratch/turntable spam crammed into the charts, so in DDR you will feel the burn in your legs from all the jumping/streaming spam crammed into the charts. That's by design lol. I wonder if they'll make a chart for the BSB Masayoshi remix in the future. It has a lot of beat changes but also a lot of scratch spam too. But then again, MOST songs by DJ Mass Mad Izm have a lot of scratch spam. 灼熱pt.2 Long Train Running's Another chart still holds the record as having the most scratches of any song in the entire series and has held that record for a few years now. I don't feel the Expert DDR chart is as hard as this BSB Expert chart, though when compared. They are definitely mislabeled.
When you know what the original IIDX Another chart looks like, this isn't hard at all. And if you play ITG often, makes this chart look like a warm-up or cake walk, tbh. I still prefer it on IIDX where it originates from. There is also 灼熱pt 2 Long Train Running and 灼熱Beachside Bunny Masayoshi Remix. Check those out too. I don't think there are DDR charts for those yet, but they're still very aesthetically pleasing to the ears. I like all of the songs from the 灼熱 (Shakunetsu) series. Really, anything that DJ Mass Mad Izm puts out.

BSB's expert chart def appears harder than a 15 when compared to LTR's 16 rating. I think the Difficult charts are rated correctly but the experts should definitely be switched, just on all the airtime and chaos alone.
Hot take: this chart isn't that hard. It's not very fast, the streams aren't that long, the patterns aren't very complex. Taken all together the song can be challenging, but taking each section on its own makes this song rather easy to learn, in my opinion.
