Do you neeeed to use mod podge or can you just trim and paint? Thanks!
Can I do this on plastic horns?
Absolutely!
Can I use gesso and matte medium instead of mod podge? Also, how delicate is the paint job being that these horns are made of foam?
Mod podge typically has more flex (in my experience) so it tends to protect the paint on the foam a bit better, though it can still chip over time. It would definitely be worth testing, if you have the materials on hand and some time to test the finish!
