I am in Canada, so our Thanksgiving has come and gone, but listening to you talk about your Thanksgiving food, I thought, wouldn't a Quilting Life cookbook be a good thing? 1:04:31
Would you be willing to do a video tutorial for your curling iron cover? I'm thankful you taught me how to make a pillow with a zipper and zipper pouches!
Thanks! This was such a fun episode- Loved the game! Billy, I’m with you stuffing is definitely a starter for Thanksgiving. Thanks for all you all do for our quilting community!
This was a great episode!!! I really enjoyed all the different topics. Great ideas for gifts for quilty friends and loved the Thanksgiving menu stay, bench or cut opinions. Chelsi, you are so funny!!! I love how animated you are and Billy how you keep everyone on track and your great ideas. Thank you all.
Great podcast! Listening on Saturday, so I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Really enjoyed your game, Billy. Beautiful quilts, Sherri! Looking forward to the next one.
I have really enjoyed watching your videos. I'm new to quilting and have been so inspired by all you do. I look forward to all the new creations and ideas you come up with.
Happy Thanksgiving! loved the podcast today with all you shared especially the food ideas. Any chance of sharing recipes and games you play? I appreciate your channel content and family stories!!
What a great episode ! So much to be thankful for and to look forward to in 2025. I especially liked the Start, bench and cut game Billy. And I also think we need a Sherri and Chelsea holiday recipe booklet! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you
I want to thank the three of you for this wonderful podcast. I look forward to it, and enjoy every episode! The chemistry you have on the show is awesome, and I so appreciate the family aspect of it. I hope you never stop! On another note - would you all be willing to put out some recipes for all of the dishes you talked about today? They sound marvelous! That would be a great treat. Thanks again for all you do and all you are. ❤
This was such a fun listen! I agree with the other comments saying, "Please share your recipes." I'm in the process of making the curling iron bags, too.
Hello, I am French and in the UK so Thanksgiving is not really a thing for me. I am however extremely thankful for all the time and efforts you put into your podcasts. They are by far my favourite, I listen to them while sewing and at work, where they help me focus on my job 😊 Have a lovely Thanksgiving all of you!
I look forward to these and love every minute of them. I agree with you about Magic. I found out about it, doing a Hunters Star QAL with AQS earlier this year and it was a god send. It adds stability without making anything stiff. I'm thankful for all of you and what you do, along with FQS, Missouri Star and Jordan Fabrics. You are all inspiring. Thank you.
Hello Sherri and Chelsi. It's been a minute since I've commented on your Monday posts. Been traveling and stalled with decision making for what pattern to use for 4 baby girl quilts. Decided to use the pattern from FQS's 2022 Heartfelt. Now that I'm productive again I have a stash of various scrap half square triangles that come from using the folded corner method in that pattern. They should be perfect with your BOM patterns. So thankful for your channel. Hugs to you both.
This was such a fun episode! I’m sick with COVID and can barely move off the couch, so this episode helped me through the day! PLEASE give recipes! Also, try playing the game but with quilting supplies. Thanks for helping me through a pretty awful day!
This was a super episode! So much fun! It is so great to hear all your family stories and see how much you truly enjoy each other. Happy Thanksgiving to you all! And I a really excited about the 2025 retreat.
Our Thanksgiving is in the middle of October here in Canada. Thank you for always putting out wonderful content & information to the quilting community on your blog, tutorials & UA-cam content! I can’t believe you cut stuffing also! It’s the best! Happy Thanksgiving!
Ok quilting life peeps. ❤❤❤❤❤ I’m so thankful for you guys. I never miss a podcast. First thing I do is make my coffee and then sit in my chair and that is when it all starts. Listening and looking at all the beautiful quilts. Love love your fabrics. Happy thanksgiving to you all ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your Quilting Life podcast and all you do for the quilting community. I have learned a lot from listening. I really enjoyed today’s episode and the game. All I can say is bring on the Pumpkin Pie, this time of year is really the only time I eat pumpkin pie and I can enjoy the other flavors later. Y’all are going to have a delicious dinner. Happy Thanksgiving 🍁🦃
You ladies have the most beautiful fabric and patterns!! Being a beginner quilter, I'm a little hesitant trying them in case I muck it up! But I'm anxious to try anyway!!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you all from Canada!!
What fun to watch your family debate! I love watching the interaction and hearing your stories. However, I was just sure that the surprise Billy mentioned early in the episode was going to be a surprise, telling Sherri she was about to be a grandmother again!😀😉😉 Happy Thanksgiving to your family. I'm thankful that I saw your first video a few years back. I always make sure I'm free to watch each episode the day it comes out! You always leave me smiling.
This podcast was so much fun. I can’t wait to hear more about the retreat. I’ve already day told my husband he can stay in Vegas and I’ll go to the retreat.
Listening to the pie talk reminded me that i have a single serve frozen apple pie to eat - the bonus one in a 4 pack when you're a family of 3 lol. Mmm, apple pie 👍
I loved this episode and especially the food game. I make the homemade pies for all our family functions. Chelsea, I too love a good lemon meringue pie. You need to look up the recipe for the mile high lemonade pie. I think you would like it.
I loved this episode! So fun! I have a recipe that is a must but we each only eat a tiny bit. It’s not cranberry relish (kind of takes the place). It’s cherry cinnamon applesauce. Sooo good! Boil 1 cup water, add 1/4 cup cinnamon red hots (dissolve), stir in 1 (.3 oz.) cherry jello (dissolve), then stir in 2 cups applesauce, chill. Sooo good! I hear you on the being stuffed after dinner. We usually eat thanksgiving lunch then chill out while watching the Lions game (we’re Michiganders at heart) then most of the family plays football. THEN we’re ready for pie. That’s basically our dinner. 😂 Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! ❤
The Rusty Moon is a great shop and local to me! Donna (Mama D) and her son, Kurt and his wife, run the store and they carry a lot of Moda fabric lines. They will be excited about your shout out. 😁
I enjoyed your discussions over your first, bench and cut dishes. Do you share your recipes? Maybe not full recipes, but ingredients. You said your green bean casserole has home made mushroom soup. That sounds workable. Thanks
OMG we've had Mac & Cheese at our Thanksgiving table my entire life starting with my grandmother who has obviously since passed, but was born in 1898! But, it's prob a Texas thing. All I want is Turkey, Cornbread Dressing & homemade Cranberry Sauce & I'm good though. Also, I was kind of surprised Kimberly Jolly & Co weren't on your list due to your book.
Billy when you mentioned the turkey dinner sandwich from Capriottis I started craving that sandwich. There used to be a Capriottis sandwich shop in Redondo Beach and it was my favorite go to. Wishing your family a Happy Thanksgiving 🍁🍂
Happy Thanksgiving!! The game was fun will have to play. I do have to laugh that if it was only your starters there I’m not sure I’d know it was Thanksgiving. 😂
I am so excited about the quilt retreat!!! I am hoping it is after Memorial Day! Otherwise it is the end of the school year for me! But if it is Memorial Day and after, I will totally be there! Love you all!!!
I as a buyer of your patterns and fabrics want to thank you Sherri and Chelssi for the personal Thanks you write across my recipe when I get my products by mail. That personal touch means a lot.
Oh my such a fun episode. Chelsi please have someone filming if you go around and knock rolls out of your mother and brothers hand. I’m still laughing. Happy thanksgiving to you all.
We have moved away from traditional turkey thanksgivings and we do stuffed porkchops and chicken breasts for those who dont eat pork. christmas I have to have my ham. We do fried cabbage, stuffed chops/chicken, baked mac n cheese (its a must), greens (country blend), and bread better be on the table (Hawaiian rolls), apple or peach pie, cheesecakes (strawberry/oreo), banana pudding and my granddaughter makes cookies and cupcakes.

Stuffing is “dressing” in the South! And you would never cut my “dressing”! 😂😂😂😂
Oh my!! I cook the turkey so I can have stuffing 😅!
