I used to have curls like that when I was maybe 6 years old then my dad cut it all off started using basic shampoos and brushing my hair with regular brushes. Teenage years I died my hair or bleached it at least once every 6 months and flat ironed it EVERY DAY. Stopped using heat 3 years ago and the last 2 years now I've been trying to take care of my hair to get my curls back...theyre coming back...slowly but surely. Just figured out we are having a baby girl so now I'm really making sure I take care if my hair so she doesn't feel ashamed of her hair as she grows up. I really wish my parents taught me how to take care if my hair.

How come your hair doesn’t become wavy or straight when it’s wet! My hair some is curly but it becomes frizzy wavy curly and straight it confuses me because my hair isn’t like that
Maybe because she has all natural curls and natural curls STAY curly even when wet

Your hair is so pretty! I have 4b hair and have to put in a lot more work when conditioning and styling my hair. I use the Cantu Coconut curling cream and it works great.

Hagar Elashmony no prob x girl if you should decide between conditioner and shampoo I would say buy the conditioner it makes your hair super smooth!

I'm watching this video to get my curls/waves back, when I was little I used to have very wavy hair but when I got older I started to use basic hair shampoos and conditioner, then I found out I have some signs of curly/wavy hair, whole my life I thought I had straight hair but maybe I have curly/wavy hair so now I'm planning on getting my curly/wavy hair back.

I have had the curling cream for a while but only used small amounts because I was scared that it would dry white if I used too much (I'm new to haircare and not used to putting cream in my hair lol). Washed my hair today and applied a lot more curling cream and my hair looks so good! Wish I have done this sooner!! My hair absorbed it quickly and there was no white stuff at all. My hair feels a bit crunchy, but will scrunch the crunch out :D

Can you use the Shea Butter leave in conditioner instead of coconut?
The center of my head is also super dry as well & that's because when we take showers, we take very hot showers (im just assuming you do bc most people do) and when that happens it rinses all of our oils from that spot because the water is SO hot. I usually have to condition my hair twice and rinse it the second time with cold water. My hairdresser told me because I was seriously thinking I was going bald when she said I was "crowning"

all my products are cantu and we use the same exact ones!! one thing i suggest is to maybe switch up using the twist and lock gel and try the moisturizing curl activator cream cause it works really well i usually use it after using the curling cream. and it comes in a taller bottle btw. also we have the same problem with the left side never working well 😭. thank you for this viddd!

I know I’m so late on this video but I have a question. How do you do it to stay for a long day? Because I have curly hair but it gets puffy when it dries up.
When I use conditioner after shampoo my curls stay soft for a while and then get tight and hard but when I only use conditioner My hair gets super soft. Why is that?

i am so late but i just found this video! i have curly hair maybe a level less curly than yours but whenever i shower my hair instantly frizzes up ur i don’t keep it wet, and i just found out that i was using the wrong shampoo and conditioner. so this is the point. when i apply the after shower cream, that’s it by the way, it stays curly for a while and drys and becomes a HUGEEE fluffy mess and i just don’t know what to do to style it!!!

While watching the video do you have to wash the shampoo and conditioner out with cold water or hot water because on the cantu it says to wash out with the cold water?

With the snot gel stuff no, my mom use to use that on my hair when i was younger it always flaked made my hair crusty it was bad. Now that im older im trying to be more natural I use eco olive oil gel, it is AMAZING.

So about a year ago I did the thing where it makes your hair straight (I got naturally curly hair) and it worked but after 4 months my hair started to fall out and become less thick. 6 months ago I started to take care of it and it growing really well and went back to it’s original thickness but it won’t get curly no matter what I do. If any of you guys know how to fix the please tell me because I need help. And do not ever try doing whatever I did bc it ruined my hair.
