I believe the center dragon during shifting sky (3:54) casts a donut aoe about the size of the brown circle in the middle of the arena, and that's why people stand inside and not on the outer edge. Standing too close to the edge of the brown circle will cause the donut to clip and damage you, which will kill you when the fire/lightning resolves.
Some feedback after having used your guides for a year. I'm sure I'm not the only one finding themselves going backwards a lot in your video to try and recapture what you're talking about when it comes to a mechanic. The explanation is great overall, but the reason for the rewinding is because you have a half second cut jumping to the next mechanic. There's no room to process the information and no warning that you're about to start talking about the next mechanic. If you already know the fight and listen to this, it will make sense and you don't need a pause between mechanics. However if you're fresh to the fight, and most people watch this will be. We need a second between mechanics to digest what was just mentioned. I would love to see if after each mechanic, you give 2-3 seconds of a pause. This will increase the quality of these guides by a lot. As well as timestamps, timestamps would be fantastic so that while running with a learner group you can easily go back over a mechanic if needing to refer to the video. Thank you so much for your videos MTQcapture. You've helped me massively learning on how to run and I'm now in a static progging :) I just thought I'd share a little bit of feedback I have wished for since the beginning of watching your videos.
To people looking for a guide of this fight, plz pay no attention to sundered sky (if you noticed half the raid died) The correct way of competing this mechanic is to have markers organized. Have the letter markers on the cardinal and the numbers on the intercardinal (or the other way around if you prefer) Find the first clone (which will always be light) and identify which number or letter it is facing, then simply stand on the opposite marker - wait for the dash or the holy to go off then move directly to edge and use arms/surecast.
your guide is missing an impotent part in shifting sky. if you are too for out of the middle you get hit be a tornado that give damage down and magic damage. and no guide out there tells you about it
THIS COMMENT NEEDS TO BE PINNED OR SOMETHING. My group kept dying to on this part and couldn’t figure out what we were doing wrong till i decided to be a skeptic and scroll down the comments to find anything like this comment and SURE ENOUGH
Small note, for the first powder mark you can just position the boss inside a safe circle then party can be on one side with powder mark tank on the other side for full uptime. No need to split into 3 groups.
It kind of is, but is also significantly more structured and less repetitive due to the inclusion of additional mechanics. As seems to be the case for the entirety of this tier.
If you want to see if your party members have brain damage, this is the one.. It's especially fun as a healer when the tanks during lightning tether DON'T USE DEFENSIVE COOLDOWNS.
Meister Akito! Write it and it will show, for other guides, Write: エデン再生編零式XXXX層前半 解説 In the XXX write either 1,2,3 or 4 which shows from E9S to E12S. There is a lot different if you're interested :D In JP We use for example E11S from beginning braindead strat so I hope this helps you to look for JP guides
The strat at 4:08 doesn't work for us, as the person with thunder tether takes damage from "Resonant winds" despite not standing in any of the aoe circles. Where does this damage come from?
I swear you talk so fast it's hard to understand you sometimes... maybe you can relax a bit instead sounding like you are in a hurry when explaining stuff?
Healers job is to heal and all the skills for healing with only 2 dps skills this is not the first or last raid need to heal a lot i main astrologian and I enjoy healing and using all that shielding skills in the right times
@@Hanvvn Even if you manage to keep everybody alive, you can still die to the Enrage though. So a healers job is not only to heal, but also to deal as much dmg as possible, WHILE keeping everybody alive. In this fight though, the priority is to shield&heal.
I don’t understand how you’re supposed to heal cycles of faith? I pretty much always get lightning second or third and the bleed just causes a wipe every time, I always make sure to shield and use seraph if I can but maybe the other heal just isn’t doing good but Idk I just can’t grasp how the fuck you’re supposed to heal this shit?
it could be that the other healer isnt pulling their weight, but you also need some good raid mitigation for burnished glory in particular, mitigating the application of the bleed means that it does less damage per tick for the remainder of the debuff, check if your tanks are using reprisal and your ranged are using their mitigation etc etc, as a scholar using sacred soil before the raidwide comes out will do wonders

Yeah, very few guides mention this. Eventually we figured it out.
Yep, can confirm, this effed up my static for an hour yesterday. The visual cue is pretty subtle
For PLDs and GNB only, those invulns can actually prevent you from getting a damage down debuff even if you get hit by an avoidable mechanic.
Ever consider adding timestamps? All the other guides I watch use them and sometimes tbh it makes or breaks which guide I go back to during prog
