We updated the mast raising system on our 1992 Corsair F24 Mk1. This is a video of the first time we raised the mast using the new system. That's Anton, our boat partner, on the boat. Dave, my husband is manning the winch, and I'm the camera person.
I'm a petite, 66 year old woman and now I can raise and lower the mast by myself. The mast is heavy! Sliding it for and aft is an exertion for me, but I can do. It's easy for two people or one man of average strength.

This was the second time we used the new system. Next time, I'll use a shorter line to tie the furler to the winch strap. That way the furler drum won't scrape on the deck (I hope).
