But what I wanted to say is that there are so many of these that when i see the canvases before they are worked they are so 'not pretty', but now I will have to look at them again. Lindsay, have you consider painting the borders on the Princess panels with acrylic? Or at least stripping off the border colors to make them have a pure white border? I have done that on all of mine to either leave as a white border or paint over it. I can explain the method I use if you’re interested. Great job on all of the finishes. I love how much you change the paintings and add in special drills. I only have a few special drills plus the ABs I save from finishes. I’m not very brave and scared to make changes. I’m going to bite the bullet when I do Firework Finale from DAC. Thanks for sharing your completions.
I haven’t really, I just plan on framing them so the borders don’t bother me in my craft room. I’ll be completely honest there is no way I could be that careful with acrylic paint 😂😅 I am always so messy I haven’t wanted to put it anywhere near my Diamond paintings! But people that do are talented!

I bought the special treatments but she said they come in rounds even for square drill kits. Is that your experience? Can i ask where you got the old gold accent drills... and the stars.... in your Cherriuki? Are the gold drills squares? Many thanks!
Thanks 😊 Yes it is true that DIYMoonShop used rounds for all special treatments. It can be confusing because they are round but smaller than traditional rounds so they fit square canvases. You can go to DP w Sparklers, I recommend them for special square drills. They also have a round of Sp4Sq or Sparklers for Squares that are smaller. When using metallic drills, they are always round unfortunately. I’ve been told that they haven’t figured out how to make them square without breaking them, so the rounds just come in two sizes

I don't understand the point of knocking out as many kits a year as possible... nor of endless box openings... but the creative thinking behind improvements is a real value add... For instance you gave a few seconds to how you changed the Hannah Lynn hair to more black.... and it looked great. That's worth time to explicate and instruct even if these changes just reflect your taste. No one else covers that niche. 🥰
I think small ones should count as 1 as well, you still put effort and time into it. I only do small ones and I count each. Don't be so hard on yourself

Do you plan on doing anything else with them other than just filing them? It seems such a lot of work and costs quite a bit, too. I understand that doing them is on enjoyable pastime, but I'll likely hang,or gift, all of mine.
i watch this video and am amazed and in awe. I did finished one painting in 2021, started a big one in 2022 (along with a smaller one). Wasn't able to finish either the whole yr 😔 BUT I have to remember that its not how fast you finish the painting, but the journey 💜💜💜

No I don’t seal my paintings, normally they are just fine. I’ve sealed two because the glue was not good. I haven’t yet hung up a Diamond painting but I plan to get them framed!
It’s a special coating they put on some drills. AB stands for Aurora Borealis because they give off a shine of different colors like the northern lights 👍🏻
I've never diamond painted before. I've been hearing about it but it looked tedious but I hear it's relaxing and I love fantasy/ nature artwork. I want to frame them. I just got my 1st 2 diamond painting a pit bull and a butterfly 😁
i think you should be banned from diamond painting, you are not doing the painting as they are meant, the blasphemy you spit right in the eyes of the artist you should follow their lead ! realy makes me so angry! a true diamond painter by heart shall never have the audacity and ego to edit a diamond painting just to your own will! you must be cancelled and banned from doing diamond painting ever again,

On the Margaret Morales one from.DIYMoonShop one, if you use polycrylic minwax clear to seal it, that won't take the shine away.

You can find gold and silver squares that are a traditional drill with paint on them but they aren’t metallic drill material
