Nice review. The Full Moon Diner and Evil Ed's Pumpkin Patch were my gotta haves this year, and they didn't disappoint. I think 2023 is one of Lemax's strongest years for Spooky Town in a while.

The Pixelated Pumpkin,
Wasn't interested in this one until I saw your showcase shots of it in the dark. Pretty striking. Kinda how the Horrid Haunted Hotel was for me. Zero interest, until I saw it lit up in a dark room.
Lemax does an ok job showing off their pieces in shorts, but I don't think they realize how a full darkness shot can really benefit some pieces. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of their pieces that don't work well at all in the dark, but some just look better that way.
I'm not sure if I'll pick up any new Lemax pieces this year, (aside from the BRILLIANT new Haunted Estates Michaels exclusive facade). For me, it feels like Lemax phoned it in this year with the sights and sounds and buildings department. The Foreboding Abode is kind of interesting, and a smaller piece called The Coffin Bar, but after seeing the overall offerings, I started seeking out older pieces that I felt showcased a higher inspiration.
