- Manny and Sid are coming to the Kingdom!
That's right Kingdomers, to conclude this winter season, the iconic gang from 20th Century Studios Ice Age is joining the Kingdom. Manny has been putting a lot of thought into the safest possible place to raise a family. He is going on an impromptu scouting expedition with Sid and Diego. But an earthquake strikes in the middle of their journey, separating the trio, and now they’ll have to brave new obstacles to find each other and escape to safety!
… Who else but Scrat could cause an earthquake?

Fun fact: The makers of Disney's Magic Kingdom also made a couple of Ice Age-related Android games in the past. So making an Ice Age update for Disney Magic Kingdom feels like nostalgia to the developers.

Personally I would like it if they would expand on how many characters you can have in the kingdom
The reason they put that limit on characters was to help the game run smoother, and we got more land when they brought that in

There are already 394 characters available in the game before this update. Just how many of those characters will you want to click through in the game at one time?
For real, I like have 90 characters in the kingdom with a few at home.
I'm grateful for the limit, and send all buttons and gathering spell.

Tarzan is an awkward license because they can't really do much with the person who owns the book's rights consent, but I agree with the others. I really want Bug's Life and Fox and the Hound.
It would be awesome to have an Atlantis event, or Treasure Planet! Also, MORE LAND PLEASE!!! And not just one square, either!

We really gotta get more land. I have no room for anything and constantly have to remove attractions whenever new ones are put in the game. Half the fun of this game is constructing my own park, and I can't even do that anymore.
Or something like an expansion park. It acts just like this one & you toggle between it & the current one. This way the game will only have to load what you have in either “park” instead of having to load everything at once. Merlin’s spell will still work for both & you could send characters to do tasks from either park to either park. You just wouldn’t need the resources for the extra land & additional attractions. Or something along those lines if possible.
@crebostar this makes perfect sense. I also play SimCity Build-It and they have 5 separate sections of land.
Technically, it could be Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios

I hope that Tarzan, Chicken Little and Tron get added to the app. Then the game will have all the Disney stuff that appeared in the Kingdom Hearts Dark Seeker Saga. Plus if Tarzan does get added, all the Walt Disney Animation Studios films from the renaissance era will be in it.

One more step for seeing Manny, Diego, Sid and Scrat in Kingdom Hearts.
Because of Ice Age event, I was hoping some events for Frozen as well because they both have ice related themes.

Also, for future updates I would love to see more Toy Story characters I know there is a lot but I would love if there was like a area for Toy Story (like the Star Wars area)
And then you could add a lot of main storyline for Toy Story, also keep up the good updates 😊

I'm glad that Scrat's going to be in it. If Scrat's going to be a playable character in Disney Magic Kingdoms, this could mean that 20th century studios is finally be able to use Scrat again. Maybe the original creator of Scrat made some kind of agreement with 20th century studios on allowing Scrat to be brought back to the Ice Age franchise. Anyway, I'm happy that Scrat's back and hopefully he'll appear in some more future Ice Age movies, despite not appearing in The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild. He's the main star of the franchise and the Ice Age universe will never be the same without him.

His absence in The Adventures of Buck Wild is the main reason why I skipped the movie. I love Scrat so much and not seeing him there just feels really weird. I've heard Disney is planning to make more Ice Age movies, maybe atleast 2 more, then 1 for Rio (so there's also a chance for Rio to be added in the game). I really hope Scrat would appear and be the comedic-star-sabertoothed squirrel we all know and love again.

Well know by the time we get the next roadmap set of updates, And im absolutely sure we should expect a Starwars update for May OR they might do it in April instead.
I do hope they add more ice age content as it has a lot of characters along with a new area maybe they could add an area for the icy attractions and spooky attractions?

Perhaps this event's missing other species besides the Dodo, like: Brontithere, Macrauchenia, Glyptodons, Palaeotherium, Orycteropus, Bootheriums, Synthetoceras, Diatrymas, Chailcothere, Arctodus, Vultures and Condors

Am I the only one curious as to what might be the second Storyline and which franchise will be used for that? My guess is either Frozen or Lion King and I'm hoping it will be Frozen as I already have all of those characters bar Marshmallow (I'm on point 132 of 150).

As I wrote this reply, I finally got the connection. Manny, Sid and Diego are all very different, yet they consider themselves a pack (an animal family). And the same can be said for the Family Madrigal and their different gifts and character traits.

You should get Dreamlight valley it’s a better virtual game and you can actually hang out with your characters you can get belle, beast, Moana, scar, Minnie, Mickey, etc. they have there own houses you can actually go in to. You can decorate your character. It became free in 2023 December 5. It’s on Apple Arcade! Have fun. I don’t know if you have it but it’s way better I used to love this game but one day I found Dreamlight valley! It’s amazing

They'd have to ask Universal.
They're not gonna add those. Those are from DreamWorks. The main reason why Ice Age is coming to the Kingdom is because they're Blue Sky/20th Century Fox property, which Disney owns.
Dreamworks was made as result of being mad at Disney, so yeah...

At some point they need to rebuild this game. It's far too crowded with too much unused space. I don't understand why they haven't done this. You keep giving us more stuff and we have to move out other stuff that we purchase or acquire. Makes me not interested in getting more if it's all just going to be stored away again when the next 12 updates are out. Seriously just redesign the park and let us move our existing characters over and let us rebuild. With soooo many things fighting for our time you really need to up your game to keep our attention and our dollars.
