Can't tell you how much I enjoyed this video. Great scenes and beats. On the trip past Goulbourn in particular the colours and skyscapes were fantastic. Thanks for posting
Great video. You match the music score to the playback speed perfectly. I do question your claim of a sped up speed of 500x. 5 x may be closer to the mark. Everything would be a blur at 500.
Love the engineering and trackwork that causes the train to tilt on the bends. We rode the Shinkansen Tokyo to Kyoto and back three weeks ago, and it was amazing to see the carriage tilt as we took bends.
What do you mean by Sydney station? Sydney Central Station? Just search UA-cam for it. This wasn't a regular revenue service, but was taking heritage carriages to Canberra for maintenance and storage over summer, because steam trains don't normally run during summer, too much risk of starting fires. Even then this train passed quite a few stations in the southwest Sydney suburbs.
As no one has replied, here goes: Trains travel on fixed wheels, on solid axles. Think about it. When these axles traverse a curve, the outside wheel has to travel further, than the inside wheel. The tighter the curve, the bigger the difference, & at least one wheel is forced to slip, metal on metal! That's your squeak, & all trains do it...even brand new ones! It has nothing at all to do with maintenance! 😅
For this trip I would definitely sit and watch the whole trip even if there was no sound or just wind noise. It passes through beautiful parts of NSW
Wonderful pictures thankyou.🍺🍺
I love time-lapsed rail trips! Thanks for making this one!
Nice trip, thanks.
Any chance of a slow speed trip to Canberra? I loved the slow trip from Canberra to Sydney

That was great, thanks for sharing.
Its a shame about the 'realtime version'
I live for those videos..!
Nice Music. Can you do a Sydney to Newcastle trip?
Any chance of a real-time video out 'Western' New South Wales way..? The longer the better 😜
Do you have the same video, but in realtime?
Must say how much i enjoyed the regular speed videos. The speed up version doesn't work for my eyes.
i have not see ,the Sydney station, why?

Probably a 4 hour journey so 4x speed not 500x.
The train I travel on Canberra to Sydney squeaks and squeals on the bends . Poor maintenance and nobody cares.

Could you just post the real time video on mute? I loved the Canberra to Sydney trip.
