I think ‘Brad’s Greenhouse’ might need a rebrand. How about ‘Brad’s basement filled with multiple grow tents and several greenhouses in the acres of garden’? Great to see you back!
So happy to see you back, you have been really missed, all your plants are looking so incredible, thanks so much for the wonderful update Brad and have a wonderful plant powered new week ahead XXXX
As always Brad a fascinating tour of your greenhouses I don’t know how you keep track of all your plants I only have an 8 by 12 foot greenhouse but I have some state of the art features I get my heat from the house from a long insulated pipe fed by our pellet stove I can control humidity and heat and cooling with my smart phone I love these plants and your setup is my idea of heaven. I’m glad you didn’t sustain too much damage from the floods and the extremely high temperatures in the summer I lost some computer equipment in our recording studio due to a lightning strike nearby in the summer all the best for a great Christmas
I don't know how I missed this video. I really enjoyed it. Loved seeing the swans. And your chickens. And the flytraps. How are you, Brad? You don't post as often as you used to or reply. I miss that. I'd love to see an update. I'd love to see a video on your chickens. That would be cool. I used to have chickens and I'm thrilled I'm getting some again this year.
Glad to see that you and your plants survived everything in BC, I'm gonna have to try and get a plant from you still sometime! Love the trumpet pitchers!
Wow, what a setup! Really cool. Mine one fly traps I've had over two winters now completely died back, except for one tiny green leaf. 😬 I put it in the fridge because I had nowhere else cool to keep it my apartment, and outside gets too cold too often. I hope it can revive itself. I just took it out of the fridge and am starting it out on the windowsill, and then will transition it outside.
Just found your site and channel, have been looking for Venus Flytraps everywhere after missing out at the local aquarium store. Excited to hear you are in BC as well, I'm in the Vancouver area! Placing my order now, absolutely stoked to have found your info 💖 thank you so much! After seeing site after site say "USA only" it's so good to see a local place for Canada only. I could cry 😭
Hi… I just bought a VFT and took it out of the package it came in, that being said should I replant it? Also it’s February 26th 2022, so do I just keep it out since I read in the comments on your UA-cam video that it’s dormancy was Nov to early February . My internal house temp is mid 60’s. Thanks for your video and I look forward to your insight.
@@BradsGreenhouse Thank you. What kind of lighting are you getting from those? I've got some cheap 4' led lights that throw off about 200 ppfd at ~3" which works out to be about 10 dli each if I put them right on the plants. That's a little bit low to be honest.
I can't wait to see your review of the Mars hydro light! I was going to buy one, so I'd love to see your perspective, as it's a not positive view! Also, if you don't like that one, what grow lights would you recommend?
Any tips on led light par and distance and why my pitcher plant has red leafs? Thank you! How would you defuse your light without a greenhouse? Thank so much
Yes, it has been awhile! It is good to see you back on. I started watching you years ago when you were doing orchids and then you started moving more towards the carnivorous plants, do you still have your orchids? I live in Southeastern coastal North Carolina. The Venus fly traps originally came from the area where I live. I've been out to Green Swamp several times to see them and the pitcher plants in situ. I must say though you have a greater variety than what I've seen in the wild. I'm glad you survived the weather this past year.
Wow, i have some plants with data tracking back to your area. We sell mainly carnivorous plants, orchids have not been our focus for the last few years
@@BradsGreenhouse Yes and it can be fun and some lights are great for sure. Company wants me to do one or them but I don't know if I will or now. The remote sensor thermometer I did was good and I still use it daily

Thanks John!
Been watching you for many years. Started growing Orchids after watching you. Lots of great tips. Are you still growing Orchids? Love your new place.
Wow Brad massive upscale!! Glad to see I'm not the only one with delays in the video department 😄
Great to see you back!
Thanks Chris
Great to have you back! I got a couple Venus fly traps from you back in March they are looking good! They survived the awful drought we had in BC
Great to see you back Brad, everything is looking awesome.
Thanks!

Thanks Duncan! You to!
Good to see you. I’m glad you made it through all the hard times.
Yeah, crazy extreme weather this year
We missed you Brad! 😀👍🌿
I’m glad your back
Thanks!
Brings back memories. I worked the propagation house. From shrub twig cuttings to cactus to succulents. Divide ferns etc. Enjoyed.
glad 2 see you back
Thanks!

Good to see you back! Can you elaborate on the Marshydro sp150 shit review?
What!? I can’t believe it! You’re back! 😭🤣
Im back!
Best of luck, Brad. I miss the orchid videos, though.
Welcome back Brad! Glad you're still around.
Hey! Yup still around. The Nursery is super busy 😅
Welcome back Brad! We missed ya!
Thanks!
Welcome back! Question for you ... what are the lights you're using for those shelves? Do you have a light of choice nowadays?
Those look like cheap amazon shop lights, the way to go. Either 5000k or 6500k depending what you’re growing
Yeah the are off Amazon and cheap! They are under the plant lights. For they space, i needed something light in weight to fit under the shelves
@@BradsGreenhouse Thank you. What kind of lighting are you getting from those? I've got some cheap 4' led lights that throw off about 200 ppfd at ~3" which works out to be about 10 dli each if I put them right on the plants. That's a little bit low to be honest.

Welcome back!!!! a comment for the algorithm
Thanks!
Thanks for this update . What about your orchids ? 😟
We sell carnivorous plants at our nursery, i still have some orchids around but its the focus is Carnivores at this time
Looking good
I sure hope you have some helpers with all of those plants and greenhouses!
Just the family 😅
Found it
Any tips on led light par and distance and why my pitcher plant has red leafs? Thank you! How would you defuse your light without a greenhouse? Thank so much
It depends on the Nepenthes, they all have different requirements but red leaves means a little much light
Hey nice to see you again Brad!
Thanks!
miss you orchid videos too
I went to Phipps in Pittsburgh felt like I was at walmart garden center. Teach them, especially the carnivores
When do you start shipping in spring, or is it weather-dependent? Thanks, Brad.
Weather dependent, February or March probably
The video of reason is back! I'll make a bucket of popcorn 🍿 for the grow light review...Something tells me it'll be fun 😋
Yeah it will be 😁

I have a Carnivorous plant nursery, so not many orchids around these days
Are you still growing orchids? ;)
Oh the kiddie pool dilemma! Pitcher plant life🤣
Hey Brad..I'm in Surrey, are you far from me, would love to visit , and maybe buy some for my new greenhouse.
I have a black thumb. Congratulations. Your talented.

Vendes semillas o solo plantas?
DO THE LIGHT REVIEW
They asked me to do a review as well lol
Ive done a few for them but this light 🤦🏼♂️
@@BradsGreenhouse Yes and it can be fun and some lights are great for sure. Company wants me to do one or them but I don't know if I will or now. The remote sensor thermometer I did was good and I still use it daily
Onh hi!!!!
I have a baby Venus fly trap how do I get it to grow faster?
Oh yeah, you are holding a rotundiflora for me. I completely forgot....
You bet!
Heeey its been awhile
Yup it has!
Where is the cephalotus? :(
They are in the highland greenhouse with the Nepenthes
Did any of your praying mantis make the move? Or eggs? I love to watch them hatch.
Nope none made it
