So happy to see an update. Love all the nepenthes as always. The greenhouse looks cool. Oh man, I thought it was cold today but that looks crazy. I hope you'll have time to update more this year. Would love to see an update on your ghost orchid, bulbophyllum phalaenopsis and low land neps sometime. I saw a bromeliad in the background. I've only JUST now gotten into those because I got into keeping frogs. Would love to see what bromeliads you have too.
I just went to Brad’s website, he’s fine. He’s just busy. Website looks to be up-to-date where you can order a bunch of Various plants, he’s got shipping dates (up-to-date). And he’s got a little chat but letting you know what the latest shipping dates are
I really miss videos like this Brad. Real videos not shorts. I refuse to watch them and delete them as soon as I find them junking up my inbox. Everyone is doing this and I have been dropping channels if they do not go back to form. It's been a long time since you've made a real update. Please, it's not hard to do a nice 5 minute one take and post it up even if once a month. I have a huge collection too so I know how busy real life is. Keep "shorts" to tick tock where videos of lesser quality belong. Watching from a computer as always.
Could you do a video on repotting extremely root bound cattleya orchids I am at a loss don’t want to damage the roots potted in small rocks , I can’t even loosen the roots. Broke the terra-cotta pot it was in
Hi Brad may I ask what your minimum temperature your Highland greenhouse kept at ? Also do you use heaters to up temperature through the day to simulate how they grow in nature, to get rise and fall temperature wise ? Many thanks Peter
FANTASTIC update Brad, your Nepenthes are all AMAZING the different variety of all the pitchers are so gorgeous, and you have an INCREDIBLE collection, the snow looks so beautiful too, thanks so much for sharing the wonderful update with us, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a super Sunday XXXX
I also live in BC (Vancouver) and it was a very cold December. Did you leave any of your Sarracenia outside during this winter? The leaves on my purpurea have been browning a bit I'm not completely sure on care for them during dormancy. They've been relatively hardy and low maintenance up until -10C and lower and now the leaves are still a bit brown. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Love the channel, been watching on and off for years now! Would you consider doing a video or two on how you propogate your carnivores? Especially interested in the king sundews and flytraps.
Wow. You have a great collection. Im from Brooklyn NY. I went to Canada a while back. Great place! Love your videos. Very informative! Keep up the great work.
Hey Brad! One species you don't have that might be worth checking into is barcelonae. I got a baby a couple years ago and am finally seeing proper pitchers and they're super cool tubby pitchers. They're pretty easy to grow and have a gorgeous dark red center vein to the leaves.
Love your channel ~ I’ve purchased a ghost orchid after seeing yours blooming. You’ve inspired me to purchase more orchids, not as many as you but about 45 or so. All types & have been having luck , love your nepenthes as well . Can’t wait to see more ~ from you .

Brad how do you heat your greenhouse? I live in Northern Arizona with temp down as low as 9 degrees. I have two heaters running but at 9 it drops way lower then the minimum orchid requirements of 50 degrees…as low as 43 degrees
I have one nepenthes that is all green and grows like a weed. Would you please tell me what medium to use to root cuttings? I assume you use a variety besides coconut husk. Thank you!! Love your channel!! I've been subscribed for a long time.
Brad do you still have that hanging garden branch if you do I would like do see you add a another really cool growing orchid like dendrobium cuthbersonii a epiphytic nepenthes would be cool a Hoya serpens?
I would love to have some of the climbing ones in my green house? Do you have any for sale? Also, do you heat the green house for winter at all ? I have some stuff in the shopping cart from your web site
I believe your referring to Nepenthes? We have lots available on our website. The highland greenhouse with the Nepenthes is heated, it doesn’t drop below about 11-13c in the winter.
I really miss snow because I used to live in Oklahoma, moved to Florida. But at least I don't have to put my tropical carnivores inside for the winter and I don't need a greenhouse.
Your channel got a greenhouse spark in me, but I was always renting apartments so it was a pipe dream. Just bought my first house and I have a perfectly oriented backyard that gets plenty of sun- will be setting up my greenhouse come autumn (I’m in the southern hemisphere). Really looking forward to it, but thankfully my winters are nowhere near as cold as yours😆
Your chanel is largest source of accurate information on UA-cam for growing a lot of plants. Been watching it since your first greenhouse that was basically just orchids.
In the winter I keep my three Nepenthes in my south room that has windows on three sides. I've found that if I keep the pitchers about half full of water they stay in perfect shape and don't dry out. They have pitchers from last spring that still look new.
@@tedfuchs9132 dang that's a really long time! Mine don't last even a month while the pitcher is in perfect condition. They stay unshriveled for quite awhile.but the top flap always shrivels really quick
Hope you're doin okay Brad. You got me into carnivorous plants like 5 years ago when I was 13, and I've always really enjoyed your content!!
I miss you brad!!
Are you ok?
where ya beeeeeen Brad =[ hope you're alright

Hello, please come back when you can. Your videos were very enjoyable and I would watch them during my breaks at work. Hope you are well friend.
Where have you been? we miss ya!
Hope you're okay Brad, I've been watching you since I was like 8 or 9 years old. You got me to love nepenthes and I stayed that way!
Long time no post ☹ you okay?

The plants seen in your video are similar to the semar bag in my village, now there are still many, thank you if you can respond to this comment

How long do the pitchers usually last before they start shriveling up?
Mine started drying and shriveled in January. So 6 to 7 months.

What are the dimensions of your highland greenhouse?
