Probably for future or anyone else doing this but If you want less steps for the exhaust and you have a rear stand after you pass out the actuator cables skip the first clamp you loosen at 8:06 and just remove from the second clamp and screw holding it unbolt the exhaust and then just wiggle out, up and down and you got the whole thing exhaust and out with less steps and screws. The exhaust still on the pre-muffler gives you a bit extra leverage to take it all out a bit easier.
To save you a ton of time removing the honey comb use a 6” end off a wooden broom stick, leave exhaust on the bike, crank the bike, beat the honey comb and keep revving in between to blow it out. This is how it’s done on cars at a muffler shop if someone doesn’t want to replace the pipe itself
@@jjmax2007 no just blows it right out the back lol yup I’ve done it. It’s only in there a few minutes that wood breaks that honey comb fast and the pressure blows it right out!
Ok for me and thw type of riding I would like to do it is more aggressive than the cbr650r umm I enjoy this bike much more because I am able to tear down the streets while on the cbr650r I can do the same the seating position is not the same the feel of power from the engine also not the same and now that I have the zx6r my practice sessio s are far more fun cause acceleration......
Hey bro, I like the getting rid of the honey comb inside the tip of the header idea👌. I just got my Zx6r and I’m not sure if who ever owned it did that, I doubt it. I wonder how big of a difference it is with it all gone.. practically a full system right there.

I told he was the bike was gonna be like once done and he flash it according to the note I sent with the ecu..... the gut took a long tine as u can see I had to speed up time and more off camera lol but yea the big is great big gains just need to get my self to a dyno day already lol stay tuned tho

Ok the header very easy to take on and off... the o2 sensor pop flames on the bike or off.... and no check engine I start the bike in the video you can see there is no check engine I have gotten the ecu flashed before this video Cheers
Did you lose any power at all. Low end or mid range? I hear you lose low end power with a slip on cause of back pressure. Also when you flased it if you did lose any power did you get it back with the ecu flash?

There is no difference as for what u may notice I did it cause of the air flow and the flames. If this is not something u want keep it in, the o2 sensor I removed mine cause I got my bike ecu flashed if u have not done this than do not remove it u will have a check engine light but all the stuff I did to the exhaust is mainly for air flow think of a tube with nothing in it how smooth the air would be flowing through it Cheers

Hello, did you install a servo buddy after that? If not, are you getting FI error code on the dash? Also, the exhaust is very close to the foot peg, does it restrict your foot placement and does it get hot? Thanks.
Ok no no servo buddy I got the ecu flashed and tuned it was disabled, the foot place is more than enough room to move around on the bike and there is no heat from the exhaust flames are angel out by the wheel
I'm not sure 😕 many people say did I use the gasket my bike did not come with a gasket let me ask u can u take a pic of yours and sent it to my e mail but my bike did not or do not have one sorry
I plan on getting this bike and changing out the exhaust. I have no experience with bikes so would most likely have to find a shop to do the switch for me. The issue is that I live in a state where its illegal to change the exhaust off the bike. So I'm not really sure if any shops in my state will change it :/

The honeycomb is there to burn off the fuel that did not burn during the normal process.... Ok if u remove the servo buddy and the ecu flash did not disable it u have have to get a after market part or else u will have a check engine light Cheers

Did you lose any power at all. Low end or mid range? I hear you lose low end power with a slip on cause of back pressure. Also when you flased it if you did lose any power did you get it back with the ecu flash?
No no only real difference was the bike was louder and quick there is no restrictions when you do this to you bike top end stayed the same

Pretty sure if you keep the o2 sensor then you don’t need to flash or tune the bike. The o2 job is to adjust the fuel as it monitors the exhaust.

I ended up going with Moore Marfa for the ecu flash there is a Playlist of all the mods done to the bike if u need ideas
