I can say even after installation of the servo plates mine threw a code anyway. Also just an FYI. I ordered a servo buddy. Otherwise, great video and thank you for posting!
I've got the same bike, same color and exhaust. I'll never sell it. Such an amazing 636cc machine. The only other bike I want is a s1000rr and a Ducati Monster or Diavel. Anyways, the Yoshimura is one hell of a pipe. I looked at all of them...Graves, M4 Street Slayer, Akrapovic, Austin Racing, SC Project, two brothers etc... but I wanted a classic Japanese exhaust for this beast of a bike. It didn't turn as gold/bronze as I had hoped but it still looks great after 1400 miles with this exhaust. The carbon fiber is excellent quality and finish. The heat hasn't warped it at all. All in all a very fine exhaust system, muffler and mid pipe. I recommend a ServoBuddy so you can pull the servo motor and cables out of the seat area, it's unnecessary and the included servo mod is kind of janky
Spy vs. Spy Just curious, in your experience how common would you say warping/degrading issues are for exhaust cans with carbon fiber? I have a 2019 zx6r also but the base model all black bike. I’ve been considering a few different exhausts and pretty much have it narrowed down to either this Yoshi exhaust or the Austin Racing GP2, probably in titanium/carbon fiber. I emailed them a few times with some questions and asked if that was an issue with their carbon options. They said the GP2 is just a carbon fiber sleeve over titanium and has no issues with heat.
@@screennamenottaken2 The carbon fiber is very high quality. The best i've seen on an exhaust. Very durable and it has a nice tough gloss finish. In my opinion it's also the best sounding exhaust i've heard on the 2019 636

Whenever you twist on the throttle, that little valve motor under the passenger seat initially opens/closes the valve in the stock exhaust. Now that you have removed it and bypassed it, I'm curious to how it works every time you twist the throttle since now it looks like it's forcing itself to one side. Can you check it out and let me know if it looks like it will break down eventually??? Thanks in advanced!!
I only had the mechanical bypass on for a while, but I did not notice any issue with it at all - everything felt the same as before. I've since installed the Servo Buddy and have removed the motor and cabling - but again, from the throttle perspective, it all feels the same.
@@eastcoastish Ohh okay! And just realized they sell a servo buddy lol bet it gave you a ton of needed space underneath the backseat. Also, did you add a power commander after installing the slip on? If not, did you notice any loss of power in the low or mid range RPM's? Or any back fire at all?
I did the servo buddy and power commander and dyno tune. Check them out here: ua-cam.com/play/PLBC1vXtmelftqM-J25LRPbXAOTxV0ObtQ.html
sounds almost as good as my 1999 ninja 20 years later
Price?
About $600
i have done the same thing to my zx6r 2019 but i also have cat delete the sound is so great and you can look at my video how its sound on dyno. have fun with the new yosi on your bick
How did you get the bolts of the pre chamber loose? Those bolts are very hard to unscrew. You made it look so easy. That's very misleading. If your going to make a how to install video, be honest and thorough with the details and challenges. Don't be misleading.
My bike was brand new so it could be that yours were harder to remove from the heat cycles it's gone through or something; mine weren't particularly hard to remove.
Tell tool box name
Which toolbox are you referring to?
I prefer the M4, at least for my likes. Nice video though.
Which M4 do you have? I just ordered the slip on so that I can delete the passenger pegs.
@@eastcoastish slip on. Check it out on my other channel THAT915GUY
muito bom, top
Based.
Just have your ecu flashed and you can get rid of the servo without error codes and no servo buddy
The servo buddy is only $50, I assume a flash would cost at least that much...
top pena que aqui no brasil não tem e se tivesse seria muito caro
I got my 2018 last year and put an m4 exhaust slip on and other mods you might like check out my videos.
Next step id say is to remove the cat from the mainfold

*REMOVE CAT* 👍
That looks like shit BTW.
Can I use this as a guide for install on a 2024 zx6r? Or is the install different??
Should be the same…
Here’s to hoping! Thanks for this vid. Gonna pull the trigger and the exhaust ordered.
Would you need an ecu flash after installing something like this ?
ECU flash or power commander
@@eastcoastish what did you go with?
How loud is it?
