I initially thought its one of your Homesteading videos. Thanks for such mature , insightful and educational content, definitely looking out for more stuff. Subscribing is standard procedure
Your subs are still low, but with time, the diaspora army will flock here. The content is more relevant and useful, in comparison to other pointless inspirational videos. Good luck and look forward to seeing more educational videos.
Another gem bro: keep them coming. Really appreciate the effort you are putting in to keep us informed. I hope your channel grows, [I know it will!], because you are packing in so much value.
I think your subscriber base will grow exponentially. Could I suggest if you could also create content in the area of investing in treasury bills and on the stock market. Most of us Zimbos are completely ignorant of what goes on in this area and yet we could see real growth
I have just subscribed. Informative, too the point, very clear and well researched. We have been buying water for our 98 year grandmother in Highfield and everything you have described is exactly how the business works. Our guy charges us 40usd for a small 1 000litre Jojo tank because he said it's a fixed fee. So l let him run the hose over all the garden. He said the water is coming from Arlington or Aspindale estate or something like that. I pray it's safe, haven't had it tested yet.
Thanks a million, appreciated. We will be back with an update at Outback Homestead soonest. From my understanding of the business + ever-developing tech it seems possible. There are key areas that you need to keep track of. The rest is execution by your team on the ground. 🙏
Great analysis sir, if you could put estimates for vehicle maintenance and zinwa fees in cost analysis because these are quite significant for such big trucks. Or put links to the info if you don't want your videos to be too long.
There are costs that are hidden in plain sight, how about VID? I’ve often times seen how The VID mounts several stops to these trucks. Any idea how much is to be spared for such routine stops and checks?
I do acknowledge such other costs in the video, but overall, I make the case that they would not make the business unprofitable (also by evidence of those trucks, buses, combis, etc keeping running in the same daily environment).
Very informative on the surface. But police vid roadblocks, maintenance, also real fuel mileage is probably more like 5km/L considering a heavy load.. Yes a profit can still be made but i would halve the figure you came to in reality, still not bad, just more realistic. I've subscribed this is good
@@ideationalist i get you on the 5km/l point, but this is considering traffic idling and heavy load runs... Most of these preloved trucks are actually in that range; this is worst case scenario. On a brilliant day with downhills heavy and uphills light with minimal traffic you can get the 10km/l,... You should do small scale (2-10 tonne) transportation business next, this is also why the end up charging $1 a km

Good idea! Just try to get paid via online where possible or else some drivers are at risk of hijacking and the money itself is at risk of theft.
Zimbabwe is mostly a cash economy for US$ transactions.

It's good to be conservative. At 5km per ltr, that truck should probably be not in this business. Thanks for the sub 🙏🏽

Is this water for drinking?
It depends on the source. Potable (drinking) & non potable water is sold.
