My mom is japanese. She's been married to my filipino dad. She's currently staying here in Philippines and she's been here for more than 15 years. Morioka Iwate is her hometown in Japan. My mom literally cried watching your video. She remembers going there together with her parents having really nostalgic feeling. Fortunately, last May 2015, we were able to come there to visit her parents and the place she grew up to. Too bad we only had just few days in Morioka. Hopefully, we could come and visit that place again. :)
I have been visiting Morioka last December, my wife is studying at Iwate University. Morioka is a very beautiful city, I love the fresh air, scenic scenery, the food, the environment, the people they are all great. I wish I can visit Morioka again in the near future. I'm fallin in love with this city
Man your other videos of Tokyo.... were of well ......Tokyo...... but...... this video made me miss the mountains of Japan sooo much....My wife's family is from Tochigi Prefecture and I lived there for 4 years working and exploring the mountains. And this video really made me miss the life and lifestyle I had there....Luckily I will be traveling back there soon so I can relive some of that....Thanks again for the video and showing how awesome Japanese life and people are!!!!! HIKE ON MAZ
+maztrain Oh, that's awesome man! Yeah, it was great to get out of the city and see some of the more natural locations. Let us know when you go and send some pics/video :)
We miss Japan so much. I was station up in Misawa. The snowboarding in Aomori, most notably Mt. Hakkodda is amazing!!! I hope I can get back there one day.
+Croaker Definitely very expensive, I don't remember the prices but that was a pretty nice restaurant. Probably like 12-15 dollars for each of those sets. -Robby
What a beautiful video thanks for sharing it! And btw, your voice literally sounds like pewdiepie. You should make a video where you try to imitate him, that would be very interesting to hear.
+Sunbreaker7 lol that's really funny you should mention it because yesterday I was in the car thinking about how hilarious he is and I was thinking a big part is his voice. I will give that a try at some point. And thank you for watching! -Robby
+Shydedis Coven Hi! All of our music can be found and purchased on band camp. This one is from Hoosier Episode 4 adventurearchives.bandcamp.com/album/adventure-archives-episode-4-original-soundtrack it is called "Breathy breakfast" If you need help locating a particular song, just give us the timestamp in the video and we'll tell you which one it is :)
It must be weird af to see basically your sister? grown up to be a wife/mother and also your best friend to witness their child being baptized. I can relate to that in a way because my culture expected my life to be done and over with at 17 lol but those good things come to those who wait. And the world to explore is so much better then being tied down to children (yea I lowkey do not like children lol)
This channel is so underrated. I just discovered you guys and man, it's a bless to watch your adventures. Keep it.

My hometown is Morioka City.
I am very happy with this video.
Please come to Morioka again.
In that case, let me show you another "Morioka and Iwate".

All the food is so pretty!
Thanks, --- Clark and Virginia
Just curious, how much do those amazing meals cost in restaurants? In NY that would have easily been at least $30.
