I am retiring in the next 2 years and Chandler is high on our list. What is the music scene like in the Chandler area or is it mostly in Phoenix? By music scene, I'm just talking about venue live music and music stores.

Downtown Chandler has several bars that have live music on weekends! These are NOT your large concert venues however. Those large scale type of events will be 20-40 minutes away.
