I had my speaker now for about 3/4 yrs and I love it has so much bass in it every one always compliments the sound and guilty and pairing together? The only thing is I have the older generation and not sure if it connects pairing with the newer generation? If it does let me know

Hi! Thanks for your review! I think IKEA does not include the battery due to environment friendly attitude. Most people won't carry this thing out of the house, so producing and then recycling the battery was a waste of resources and caused unwanted externalities. When someone needs the battery, then it is still available. So it's an environment-aware thinking, don't you think? 🤔

What do you mean place a cpu. The cpu is built into the motherboard. Also you get the plug with it. The battery is separate

You can play with the cable or with the battery. If you have the battery there is no need for the cable to be in 24/7
