Something I noticed to differentiate between the central Cannon special and the Frozen Core special. For the Frozen Core, as soon as the ice is in place or close to being in place, the boss will stop looking at you and turn to face the center of the walkway, in addition to not attacking you anymore. If it is the Cannon special, the boss will not turn away from you, so in this instance I find it helpful to have myself off to one side so that if the boss does turn to do Frozen Core, it's more noticeable.
The added way of knowing is if he autos after the ice stops it will be a cannon. The autos even get cancelled when he does the core so watch out for him doing another auto if you don’t notice the sharp turn to the middle.
For Frost Cannon (East), you can tell if it's going to be the frost cannon or the ice beams based on the things that shoot out from the ends of the arena that signal the creeping ice. When it comes from the east, if it stops in the middle, it will be a frost cannon. If it goes past the middle, it will be the ice beams.
He always does a set of 5 attacks followed by a set of 5 more. This means only the 5th special can be a back to back. It also means b2b2b is not possible.
The only ice beam that really causes problems is the middle one when it spawns right in your path. If you start the mechanic in the southwest corner, you want to pull that beam south then run a round it to the north as fast as possible, even stepping a few squares towards the east to pull the beam to the wall faster if you have to. If you can get to the ice wall right as its disappearing, and keep going, you can surge through the east beam before the middle beam spawns, every time. Then wrap back around one more time as ice from the next mechanic forces you in. Ive found this method to be very very consistent
Im using a BiS mele setup for making a lot of 0-50 killstreak sets. What weapon i use depending on the mechanics: -T95 lengs by default, zerking on flurry mechanic. -MSoA spear with the EoF EZK use before pillars of ice so he can take damage over time while dodging the beams. -ZGS for the spec during Exposed core and before Frost cannon, but for Frost cannon i anticipate and reflect, then use resonance the last hit for full heal and reflect 10k damage back to him. -Noxious scythe, for using Meteor strike, Hurricane and quake to clear the glacyte minions.

My biggest problem is surge being broken as hell During the pillars I'll run around the first one and into the middle of the arena , I'll surge when they get close and attack again and then walk or surge left , sometimes I get stuck and dont move . I'll click like a mad man while snacking my surge key bind. Any idea what's going on. My character freezes in place. This is the only way I die and I feel cheated cause its glitched or broken cause it makes no sense

Been tryin to get to 500% enraged for Iceborn title. So to add on from what you said about the res on 3rd hit, how do you know when the second hit comes. When is the exact timing is what I am tryin to say?
Everyone does what waswere does but i simply anticipate devotion, since you dont really use devotion otherwise up untill 1.5k ish for other things, then id say its better to devotion say the focus attack. Lots of options but if ur specifically struggling with the beam just devotion it! If im being honest i still devotion it and i use melee (ive pushed to 2k w/o any problem rly just havent been motivated enough to keep going for more xd)
ive been stuck on 300 enrage doing only melee, have tried to use range (sirenic and ascensions with ruby bak) and for somereason I just cant do it...I see the value in it but oddly enough I can not dps the exposed core phase fast enough. I dont know if I just suck lol or if my rotation is wrong? or if I am missing something but I just cant do ranged
the frozen core is the only threat for me I cant deal fast damage so I get punish real hard. For the pillar of ice it's the easiest for me just double dash and you are good to go no damage taken I dont think I even failed one this week

Wouldn't recommend devoing the frost cannon at all. At least before the flurry fix you had to save devo for that and probably still do at maybe 2k+ as soulsplit would not out heal it, also the reflect method is just better. If you get b2b frost cannon you can debil+vit pot works pretty well

I tried the reflect anticipate reso the ice cannon and turned prayer off before I hit reso and it killed me. So be sureeee you reso then turn off prayer. Lost a 6 ks (NBD) but I thought I would have the time to also click reso and I didn't.
Not yet, but it doesn't seem like enrage has as much of an impact as telos. The only known thing is that nilas is 2 + Streak/5 so a 50 KS would be a 12 nilas drop
The fact that ppl are getting 100+ streaks at high enrage with no nilas drops needs to be fixed… why is the item you need 30 of so rare? Most people get several orbs by the time they get enough nilas. It’s pretty ridiculous IMO.

This is super helpful. Can you give some suggestions on pushing high enrage with magic? Especially the minions

I sometimes get dead clicks at the far west when frost cannon starts, so annoying. Made me sign a couple times
Also, the ring will be need to be worn for the affect to be worn, a Jmod stated on reddit that they meant it to be worn and will soon be implemented

Best thing u can do is practice the res timing in normal mode so even if u miss the reso u won’t get melted

I m not very good at PVM. I start to strugle past 250% with the extra minion that spawns. He consistantly hits close to 1k.

Dark Magic aura is also a great option with lots of hp and "downtime" from running pillars/etc... although doesn't help as much with minions/arms.

I feel 0 is best since it allows for the longest streak before having to reset and nilas quantity is based on streak not enrage
0 is the best as you maximize you streak length and 0-250 only takes about an hour and a bit

You really don't need devo for the flurry spec, even at 1300% a single resonance is enough to no food it
Also use debil/reflect + defender + vitality pot for panic situation.

I am stuck at 252% I find it a big difficulty jump once you hit the 250%+ .. minions harder to kill, mechanics come faster
I typically use the small range stun with chins, use needle strike, dark bow EoF (all with chins on)
Chinchompas+offhand ascension> Tendrils to rapid fire to dbow spec for close to instant clear. Use ss to heal

i on the other hand have 22 nilas, both weapons crafted and 36k shards and no leng drop >.
