Mauricio Kagel: Transición I (1958)

This was about the first electronic music piece that I ever heard back in 1962, and it blew me away. It is a very powerful piece, created, I believe, at the Cologne electronic music studio, where Stockhausen did a lot of his early electronic music.

where did you here it in '62? It wasn't released on a recording until late 1964 or early '65.

@@mroutnal5226 if it was produced at the Studio für Elektronische Musik, it might have been aired on WDR radio. that would've been the Studio's primary reason of being, to create music for broadcast.
