Thank you for having a glaze video. I find glazing very confusing and there are not many videos showing the whole process. Thank you again for doing this.
Thank you so much for sharing the glaze process! You've really helped me a lot. Glazing is one of the most challenging parts of the making process, and probably the least explained. Your bowl is beautiful! I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the kiln load.
Thank you so very much for sharing your work Lois. I absolutely am blown away. We love England, would love to come visit you . We live in Dallas. Thanks again for your amazing Work. ❤
OH my gosh this is amaaaazing!!! Thank you so very very much for sharing so much with us!! I appreciate it more than you know and I’m soo happy to see you making pottery again!! Having the glaze you’re applying in the note at the top is also soo helpful!! Just fyi at the 8:50 minute mark you are doing a voiceover as well as talking at the same time. Not sure why it’s both playing but thought I’d let you know. I how you see the rest of this kiln load soon.
This is beautiful! Have you tried, or, if you have, what do you think of layering over Iron Celadon? I find it very similar to textured amber brown, and have had some beautiful results layering over it. I wish I could share pictures on here!
Thanks for reaching out. My husband broke his back last December. He’s ok needed the top 5 vertibrea to be pinned. Plus some other bits that have been difficult and I am struggling to get back on my pottery journey. It’s been a very tough time. So you asking is most treasured so Thankyou.
So glad you back making amazing glaze combos. Thanks for coming back, I'm so excited to see the colours
Stunning dish! I love the colors and how they dripped!

Email me lois@loishook.com. I would love to see your pots.
I have never owed this glaze so it would be good to know.
Haven’t seen a video in a while. Are you doing okay?

Hi, have you ever done chattering for texture? Thought you'd tell us about Crete while you glazed, lol
Hi Yes you would see pots chattered in earlier videos. But I don’t think you will see me show you how I’ve done it more the effect on glazing.
This bowl does have chattering if you look as she shows the bottom of the bowl at 1:43. You probably missed it.
I just found you and love your glaze layering! How high do you fire these?
I have a Skutt 1018 with a preset screen which I use. I ask for a cone 7 but when I use cones I’m sure it a very high cone 6 if not a 7.
