- In this episode we head to Hill End to find out about life in the gold rush days. We stayed in the comfort of a National Parks campground - complete with hot showers - from there we explored the old township, remnants of gold mines, old digging sites, and the History Hill museum. We drove the Bridle Track, took on our deepest water crossing to date - and still managed to find great little cafes for our 'daily'. We both fossicked for the first time and cooked in our camp oven for the first time .... one of which was successful - and one wasn't...
Hill End is a great place to explore and we hope you enjoy seeing the places we found.
thanks for watching

I camped for a few nights at Hill End a year ago - so much to see there. Great video! Did you drive on a short track to view Split Rock?
