I love your Dollar Tree puzzle haul! The images you picked up are so vibrant and fun. It's amazing how you can find such great puzzles at such affordable prices. The pancake and coffee puzzles are my favorites - they'd look awesome displayed in your kitchen. The three-dollar sets you found are a fantastic deal, and I can't wait to see how they turn out. Thanks for sharing your puzzle adventure and haul with us! 🧩🎉
I’m planning on working on the Puzzlebug and Artbox coffee set very soon. I’m curious how these are gonna compare with each other. I’m also really excited to see how good/bad the quality is on the $3 sets. We shall see!
I have definitely noticed there are hot air balloons in a lot of puzzle images... great for me though cause I'm kinda obsessed with them lol 😅 we have a really similar taste in puzzles, I also just picked up that florist one the other day!!!
I find it so funny how they always find somewhere to insert a hot air balloon. Sometimes, it doesn't even make sense 🤣. That florist puzzle is a great one!
Another fun video to watch. To bad you didn't open the boxes. I'm very curious about the piece quality and how they fit together. 😉 Hopefully we'll find out in your next video. In the Netherlands we have a store comparable to the dollar store, it is called the "Action". And you can get all sort of things for low prices. Some are bad quality, but some products are fine and really useful. I have to admit that it is my guilty pleasure store too. I always buy more than I need or what I was looking for. Funny joke/fact: there is a dutch meme on facebook. It says: "went to the Action and their ATM was broken....had to put back 843 items..." 🤭
I'm currently planning/working on videos comparing the Dollar Tree sets, as I'm super curious about what makes them different. Our store also sells of bunch of other stuff like household items and food. It's so hard walking in there and sticking to only buying what you originally went in for. It's almost impossible to walk out of there without at least 10 other unplanned items 🤣
I LOVE puzzle bug as a dollar-priced puzzle! I tend to like the 350 piece dollar tree puzzles better than the 500 piece. Both piece counts have their own cut for all of the puzzles in that piece count. I just don't like the cut of the 500 piece, especially doing them over and over again since I tend to pick up a lot of dollar tree puzzles. But I LOVE Dollar Tree puzzle bug 350 piece count puzzles! I mean, I do prefer other brands, but puzzles that you paid less than two dollars for and are pretty easily replaceable are GREAT for taking to different places and events where it would be pretty easy to lose pieces.
This is great to hear that PuzzleBug is pretty good value. I'm really looking forward to comparing all the Dollar Tree brands and ranking them from best to worst. Even though you can't expect the greatest quality, they are extremely great value just for the fun and the fact, like you said, you can take these anywhere and not go too crazy worrying about losing pieces. No big lose in the end.
greetings Mandy! such a great puzzle haul there! and so cheap too. love how funny you are in the commentary always makes me giggle away! my favourite has to be the Coffee Puzzle, it's simple but so cool, im sure you'll have lots of fun and absolutely that is something to hang on the Kitchen, it would look like a unique artwork. thx again for the great video.
Hi Ric! Happy to make you laugh 😂. I'm planning on working on that coffee set soon. Hopefully I can actually get it to stick together, as the hold tends to really suck with those. We shall see!
I found out a few months ago that a cousin of mine is a puzzler as well and we exchanged some puzzles. She likes putting puzzles together with her grandson, which I think is pretty cool. She gave me 15 Cra-Z-art puzzles, a few 350 and 500. She asked if she could borrow some of my puzzles and I was fine with that. I wasn't really looking to exchange puzzles since I have plenty at home I haven't done yet, but I took what she offered. I think it was 21 puzzles in all and I'm working on the last one now. I wasn't thrilled by the Cra-Z-art puzzles as I lean more toward the premium brands, but I have to admit that they were actually rather fun to put together. I didn't care for the shapes being the same in the 500 counts but they were still easy enough to do and not as bad quality as I thought they would be. I hope you enjoy them as well.
Wow, she handed you a great number of sets, I would've taken them too! Cra-Z-art quality is pretty cheap in general, but yes they do turn out to be great fun in the end. And the images tend to be really cute which is a big plus. I'm looking forward to trying out the Puzzlebug set and comparing it with Artbox. Gonna start on that very soon.
That dolla 🌲 was organized and really well stocked compared to the one within 40 miles from me 😁 I ended up organizing the puzzle boxes while i was looking through them 🙄
Wow, if my Dollar Tree was looking really organized and well stocked to you, then the location you went to probably needs to be shut down 🤣🤣 I tend to organize the puzzle shelves wherever I go so that they look all pretty too. I guess we just can't help it LOL.
Thank you for taking us shopping with you.. and you are so lucky to shop with the cutest girl.... your store looked huge.... and a nice one!! I have a Rose Art $3.00 $ tree puzzle called the Stamp Collector.. it is even shown on the back of one of the puzzles you purchased.. I felt the quality was ok, good enough I would purchase one again....I liked the images you picked out...lol I pass on hot air balloons too!!! looking forward to a video of your review of these... I'm trying to get a friend hooked on puzzling , she is on a budget so this would be good videos to share!!!! Hope your tough times are over soon!!! Hope for sunshine to go thrifting!!!
I love hanging out with my little buddy 😁 These two Dollar Tree locations are a pretty good size, but I passed by one today whilst on a drive that was HUGE! Think I'm going to have to make a stop there at some point 😜 I'm glad to hear the $3 set was pretty good for you, I'm looking forward to doing a comparison with all of them at some point too. Dollar Tree would be a great place for your friend to shop, and not spend too much money in case she doesn't get in the groove of puzzling. I'm looking forward to nicer, less scorching and less wet weather soon. Hurry up Fall!!!
It really depends on your location, but you can certainly come across some great finds. I actually need to head back to one soon and see if they've restocked with anything new.
I hope you will do a review of these puzzles soon. The coffee puzzle is very cute, even though I don’t drink coffee. I would also have bought the carnival puzzle. I’m concerned about the piece size of the coffee puzzle.
I definitely plan to make at least a few more reviews with these Dollar Tree sets, including a video just comparing them altogether. I just hope I can somehow get the coffee and pancake puzzle to glue together because I want to hang them up, too pretty!
Thank You for reminding me of $ tree puzzles went there today and purchase two more " which I needed" I got the Flip Flops Sale and Cozy Colorful Chairs... by Rose Art... one that you did not see... the 300 piece are fun to do in one evening....and found a Charles Wysocky at good will and a Halloween pumpkin.. enjoy !!!
Hey, you can always "need" more puzzles 😁 At least they're cheap so that's even better. I love to call these "quicky" puzzles. Ooo and you found some Fall/Halloween decorations too! The season is almost here! I can't wait to do Fall puzzles.
I have done a good few of these 1$ puzzles and never had a problem- the colors are super vibrant the fit is great- if I go into it with the mindset of 1.25 then I'm always pleased. I will tell you when I spent 25-50$ on a "better" brand and the fit is crap, colors don't match and so on- I'm a LOT madder.
I've done a few of these $1 sets, and even though the quality is lacking, they are still great fun in the end. You definitely have to go in with the mindset that you're gonna get what you pay for. And your absolutely right, it's way more upsetting if you spent way more money.
Go for the mixed 2 puzzles. I tried them; they’re a lot of fun!😍 don’t get the 350 piece small jigsaw puzzles. They’re too tiny and it’s a rip-off. The puzzle bug 350 piece with thicker puzzle pieces is a great idea. The 500 piece art box looks like fun except the pieces pop up and won’t stay together until you are almost finished. Take your chances. It might be worth the trip🤔
I'll pick up the mixed 2 puzzles on my next trip. I'm really curious to see how all these brands compare to each other. I'm especially curious about the $3 sets now. I know the $1 sets that I've tried in the past had a terrible fit too, but I still try to make the best of it especially if the image is fantastic.
I’m planning to glue it, but I’m hoping it will actually hold together when I start spreading it around. Now that i think of it, I’m notreally sure how these Artbox 500 counts will hold up to it. Might have to think of a different way to keep it together. I did glue the coffee set though!
😂 the dog comment😂 I seriously see them everywhere now that you’ve said that in a previous video. I have noticed the balloons too. I thought they were a nice touch at first and then now they are everywhere and I roll my eyes…yet another balloon… That first dollar tree looked so nice! I actually live in the city of dollar tree headquarters! And all of ours are so messy and never stocked. Loved the pancakes one! I need to go see if we have that one. That would be a good idea for a Christmas gift for coworkers or something. The pancake puzzle with some kind of pancake mix or the coffee one with some bagged coffee! I know it’s August but I start spreading my Christmas spending out starting in September!
Seriously...always random hot air balloons and dogs. I have a couple sets on my shelf with hot air balloons, and I remember just realizing that it just made no sense...why are they even there?! So extra! You would think that the Dollar Tree locations near the headquarters would look decent, that's crazy. Like they don't even care or something. Oh wow, your gift ideas are freakin fantastic!!...I may have to steal your idea 🤣🤣 And I don't blame you for starting your Xmas shopping early. Makes it easier on the finances and you're also not last minute shopping.
You are so lucky, my Dollar Trees are lame. Although I did see the pancake one and almost got it! I had some pretty good luck At Garage sales this summer!
I guess I shouldn't complain so much that my locations are extremely messy. I guess at least they have a pretty good selection 😂 Of course my community had garage sales this weekend, but I had to work both days...ugh! Glad to hear you had some good luck at your garage sale stops! What was your best find?
@@thepuzzledmandy You probably would have liked my best find! I got three 750 piece Buffalo “majestic castles” for .50 each! I think I already know which one you live in 🤣
3 mins in and i like the pretty house, canyon, and windmills.... Close to 6 mins in, the animal one looks very similar to the game Micro-Macro crime-solving board game yet coloured in. The Croatia one is probably the city of Dubrovnik.....always had a calling to go there and will once I move to Serbia. Beautiful city, apparently. The other house at 12 mins in is also very pretty. The unicorn I'd get for my Granddaughter 🙂 Love your comment re anticipating buying a couple of things and walking out with bagfuls lol....I've done the same with Tarot Cards (started with 3 for my Mrs and ended up with re 30 for her and 20 new to my collection), 3D jigsaws (started with one and ended up with re 15), and now Board games (began with 1 and ending up with re 50, of which 15 or so are for my Granddaughter...she wont be lacking in choice lol), so much so I probably have an extra 2 cubic metres and at $750 ($500USD) per cubic meter to put on the ship, has just added to my price to move yet worth it as it's still cheaper this way than to buy over there and pay the taxes etc etc etc LOL...the coffee jigsaw.....love it 🤣🤣🤣 The coffee most common in Yugoslavia is Turkish coffee....it is so strong... and the smell, and taste.....yummy. I still call it Yugoslavia (Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Montenegro, etc) Since you like pancakes, have you tried any Yugoslav ones? Here is a 1 min video that doesn't do them justice. It is the food I miss the most. Two main types...sweet or savoury: ua-cam.com/video/BikHYeLXHOU/v-deo.html (recipe and how to make available here on UA-cam) 🙂 Your video has now made me hungry lol
Ooooh Ernie, your moving bill is not going to be pretty at all! 💸💸💸💸 Your cargo alone will probably max out the weight limit on the ship too. I've heard about Turkish coffee being very strong, definitely sounds like something I'd enjoy. Nothing like a good strong cup of coffee to slap you awake in the morning. I've never tried Yugoslav pancakes before, but they look like what we call in the US crepes, which I have tried and love. Darn Ernie, now you've made me hungry 😂
@@thepuzzledmandy 🤣 You're a barrel of laughs, Mandy! Moving costs overall, I am looking at re $3500 ($2500US). I was quoted before my a Co in England 4100 euros ($6000AU, so I'm looking at just over half. To send a container over I have been quoted anywhere from $9 000 - 25 000. I have nowhere near a container load. And again, cheaper to buy all new furniture and clothes, etc once I've moved.....start from scratch than take stuff over. I'm a bit concerned that Turkish coffee might make you speed up a video from start to end as compared to bits n pieces lol Deff given the time, try at home, as how to make are available on YT, the Yugoslav pancakes.......or make the crepes at the same time. This way you could invite your whole supporters list over for breakfast in your new house that you jigsawed together and with a dog, you don't have lol
@@erniesulovic4734 Oh yea, starting from scratch will be loads cheaper and easier in the end. At least you'll get to do some fun furniture shopping. I really try to forget how much it costs me to move everything from my first house into storage, let it sit there for about 6 months, then move everything to a different state...I never want to move again 💸💸💸 I'll happily move into one of my many puzzle houses though. Oooo pancakes and strong coffee with everyone sounds fun too! Even with a random dog and about 50 hot air balloons drifting in the sky.
@@thepuzzledmandy Yeah and I love the smell of new stuff too :-) New furniture, bed sheets etc. :-) It is going to be fun enuf with just some of the electricals as the power points are diff yet I have the converters/adapters :-) If you move into one of your jigsaw puzzle houses, you'll be able to employ house-elves lol (Maybe tapping your shoes shoes three times, might help as well) 😂 If you do have one of those big brekkies, I'll happily drop by. Only been thru LAX on my way to Mexico where I got "interrogated" by the Customs officer hehehe I did have fun with them on my way home as I was more game then....I was heading in the right direction lol 😂
I tried dollar tree and family dollar puzzles, but I don't like the low quality of the pieces. I am spoiled with White Mountain, Ravensburger, Bits and Pieces and other more expensive brands. I liked the puzzle images in your puzzles :)
Oh I don't blame you for not liking the quality, it tends to be pretty bad. I buy them mostly just for some quick fun and if the image is really cute. I'd definitely prefer White Mountain, Buffalo, etc, but sometimes if I don't have the extra money to spare, it satisfies that puzzle shopping urge.
lol lol thought you would get a chuckle... found my Scrabble puzzle on ebay today for only $59.00 bucks.. EGADS!! think I will wait till I find it at Goodwill ... ha ha ha ha...
@@thepuzzledmandy yea I thought hey !! you could of bought it for 10$ and made 50 bucks.... see ya in the next one... great day here hope your day was good too!!!
I’m going to have to check out our Dollar Tree some of those puzzles seem interesting . $3.00 is a great price especially when everything out there is an arm and a leg.
It's a fantastic price, especially for those just starting out puzzling! I'm hoping the selection gets bigger over time, as it's a great way to treat yourself to a new set when you really don't want to spend too much.
Sooo I went 😂 I got the pancakes one, the woodland animals one that looks like a picture book, and a view of Greece! I saw the robot one and laughed out loud. 😂 We don’t have the 3 dollar ones. 😢 well, at the location I checked.
I feel like Dollar Tree is really stepping up their game with all these fun sets/images! And what's even better is that you don't feel guilty afterwards because its so cheap. RUN FAST!!!
I wish I picked up the woodland animal one too, I regretted it after we left. Did the robot one feel creepier in person??🤣 Check another location! You're bound to find some somewhere else!
Do you have Goodwill or other charity thrift store? I’ve found so many puzzles at thrift store anywhere from $3- $8. Once in awhile I’ll even score an unopened puzzle .. my husband think I like the hunt for a bargain more then puzzling 😅.
I'm still contemplating when to head to my closest Goodwill, as it's a bit of a drive and the area, from what I hear, is not great. I need to head back to the last thrift store I checked out with all the 50cent puzzles. They were closed for a few weeks but they'll be opening back up again soon. Honestly, sometimes I can't figure out what's more fun myself...puzzling or puzzle shopping 🤣
Ooo this is great to hear! I was hoping there would be a positive difference with those sets. I think I'll plan to do a comparison video at some point of all the brands Dollar Tree puzzle carries.
Puzzlebug's quality was much better than I expected. The colors were good and they stayed together. I loved the $3.00 Lion puzzle. I will have to check our Dollar Tree it didn't have the $3 aisle last time I was there.
I'm glad to hear the Puzzlebug quality was good stuff! Now I really can't wait to try it out. I know Dollar Tree was slowly rolling out the "Premium Aisles" throughout all there locations. Your location may be getting the upgrade soon!
You certainly had a great time looking through the items in the shops. Good value for money as well. That coffee one looked really good. ☕ I'm totally fascinated by the fact that you call jigsaw puzzles 'sets'. I do all my shopping for jigsaws on the internet, either eBay or a puzzle website. I sometimes look at charity websites and see what they have. 😃
Sometimes I find it hard to figure out what's more fun, puzzling or puzzle shopping 🤣💸I'm excited to complete the coffee set😁 I'm just hoping I can actually glue it together and hang it up. I haven't looked at Ebay in awhile, probably for the best because I will end up buying too much LOL. I didn't think to look at online charity shops though, I'll have to look into that.
👍🏻👍🏻

Love your comment re anticipating buying a couple of things and walking out with bagfuls lol....I've done the same with Tarot Cards (started with 3 for my Mrs and ended up with re 30 for her and 20 new to my collection), 3D jigsaws (started with one and ended up with re 15), and now Board games (began with 1 and ending up with re 50, of which 15 or so are for my Granddaughter...she wont be lacking in choice lol), so much so I probably have an extra 2 cubic metres and at $750 ($500USD) per cubic meter to put on the ship, has just added to my price to move yet worth it as it's still cheaper this way than to buy over there and pay the taxes etc etc etc
LOL...the coffee jigsaw.....love it 🤣🤣🤣 The coffee most common in Yugoslavia is Turkish coffee....it is so strong... and the smell, and taste.....yummy. I still call it Yugoslavia (Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Montenegro, etc)
Since you like pancakes, have you tried any Yugoslav ones? Here is a 1 min video that doesn't do them justice. It is the food I miss the most. Two main types...sweet or savoury:
ua-cam.com/video/BikHYeLXHOU/v-deo.html (recipe and how to make available here on UA-cam) 🙂
Your video has now made me hungry lol
I'm a bit concerned that Turkish coffee might make you speed up a video from start to end as compared to bits n pieces lol
Deff given the time, try at home, as how to make are available on YT, the Yugoslav pancakes.......or make the crepes at the same time.
I really try to forget how much it costs me to move everything from my first house into storage, let it sit there for about 6 months, then move everything to a different state...I never want to move again 💸💸💸
I'll happily move into one of my many puzzle houses though. Oooo pancakes and strong coffee with everyone sounds fun too! Even with a random dog and about 50 hot air balloons drifting in the sky.
@@thepuzzledmandy Yeah and I love the smell of new stuff too :-) New furniture, bed sheets etc. :-) It is going to be fun enuf with just some of the electricals as the power points are diff yet I have the converters/adapters :-)
If you move into one of your jigsaw puzzle houses, you'll be able to employ house-elves lol (Maybe tapping your shoes shoes three times, might help as well) 😂
If you do have one of those big brekkies, I'll happily drop by.
$59?!?! And I bet you had to pay for shipping too😂. That's crazy!
@@thepuzzledmandy yea I thought hey !! you could of bought it for 10$ and made 50 bucks.... see ya in the next one... great day here hope your day was good too!!!
@@kathylynn1375 Ugh, could've made a nice profit 😆 Hope your week has gone well, I can't believe its nearly the weekend already!
Damn it Mandy!! Now I need to hit up dollar tree's- love the coffee one!!
I know right?😂
Sooo I went 😂 I got the pancakes one, the woodland animals one that looks like a picture book, and a view of Greece! I saw the robot one and laughed out loud. 😂
We don’t have the 3 dollar ones. 😢 well, at the location I checked.
I did.. so yes ditto to Mandy.... I picked up two... lol
I feel like Dollar Tree is really stepping up their game with all these fun sets/images! And what's even better is that you don't feel guilty afterwards because its so cheap. RUN FAST!!!
I wish I picked up the woodland animal one too, I regretted it after we left. Did the robot one feel creepier in person??🤣
Check another location!
Puzzle bug deluxe puzzles are excellent
Ooo this is great to hear! I was hoping there would be a positive difference with those sets. I think I'll plan to do a comparison video at some point of all the brands Dollar Tree puzzle carries.
the works is my place to go thay do puzzle and lots of arts and crafts
They really do have a ton of arts and craft supplies at such an amazing price here as well!
