- A short film by Ralph Cardall, recorded at one of my cigar box guitar players' workshops, with footage of me playing guitar and talking about my approach to teaching.

I thank you for your videos. I was told to study music once upon a time and lost the passion for it. You and others have reminded me of what I lost and the need to get it back.I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Recently built, slotted, fretted my own cgb. Videos like yours do impact people and I thank you again. Would like to open a line of communication with you. Those this instrument got it's recognition in the states, I think you have a knowledge of the subject :) Thank you :)

Great idea the make and play workshops I'd love to try and get one going in the hull area
I made-up 6 of the kit guitars, and on one of them used the poster from Upton Blues Festival....with the NoTone logo on the headstock.
if you ever get a workshop near ashton-u-lyne lancs....7 miles out of manchester then i'd love to come along

I'm currently looking at running a workshop in Lancashire.
At the last 'make and play' workshop there were a lot more women, and a younger group generally overall too.

I'm in Birmingham. At the moment I've got cigar box guitar "Make and Play" days lined up where you make your own guitar an learn to play - these are in Bristol and London. At the moment I've not got any playering only workshops, but I've had some requests - wherebouts are you? If there's a demand I can possibly arrange one near you.
