    Lots of Blue Monster tape for the leaks. I used a 3/4 NPT to 3/4 GHT adapter on the hose side, but I heard it it BSPP thread. I myself am surprised at the comments on my video overwhelming majority love it and many in detailing vans. No reports of a unit failing yet.

      Yeah people are commenting the same here. My concern was quality control of the unit especially with the metal shavings in the gun… I thought if that could pass qc than other issues could be overlooked in the motor pump as well… but it’s did get pretty good numbers. I think my “total pass” comment may be off. I was frustrated by the components and the metal in the gun I think ha

    I purchased this unit and have it in my mobile van. It so far has been amazing with no issues whatever. I prefer the performance and noise far over the ryobi. It is an amazing unit in my opinion. As long as you know how to convert fittings and use teflon tape you wont have an issue

    im so glad i jumped on this and bought right when Keav made his video. I knew it was gunna sell out because there is no way in hell they are able to sell it at that price. And I got mine for $72 and it has been awesome. I still use my Active for myu main pressure washer and I use this one soley for a spot free rinse by ujtilizing it's ability to use any water source so I just fill up a 5 gallon bucket with distilled water and put a 5 foot hose from the pressure washer to the bucket and I gethigh pressure spot free water for rinsing.

    • @david-iam
      @david-iam 18 днів тому

      This is exactly why I replaced my older Ryobi and the Karcher. In order to prolong life of the DI resin, I run my municipal 350 ppm water through a on demand tankless RO. The pump in the tankless RO is more efficient in the pure to waste water generation. And it drops the ppm to 11-18. Which my DI system is happy with. I found this induction motor pressure washer is much better priming and drawing water in via gravity versus the Ryobi and trash Karcher I was using previously. Those two would be so inconsistent that it was annoying. Plus, the lower gpm rate is welcomed because it allows me do the final spotfree rinse on multiple cars from the single 15gallon water reservoir. No need to keep making more water.
      So there’s definitely a good nitch for this product imho. Once i put quality stainless quick connect on the machine. Used a bunch of Teflon tape to stop the leakage. The machine has been performing good so far. Longevity is the only thing questionable but time will tell. Also, I used to hate the sound of my Ryobi and Karcher electric pressure washer. The sound coming out of this induction motor pump is more pleasing to me.

    The Pump is actually aluminum. There are about a dozen brands on Amazon of these pressure washers, all have the same accessories, same looking style pump, some painted black. The prices range from $60 - $100. Most likely they all come from the same factory.

  • @MJ_MAJ

    I picked one up for 75.47 shipped after taxes, spent 7.99 on the 2 year warranty, and 21.61 on the two adapters. 105 ALL in I figured its worth it to try it out and see where it gets me. I mostly clean my own vehicles, plus a little bit of side detailing here and there. If I dont care for it, im sure i could sell it easily and jump into something better or keep using my karcher k2000.

    You should do more cheap reviews - I always find these way more interesting than testing good stuff that you already know is good, and much too expensive to justify spending if you're just washing your car on the weekends. Also, who knows, maybe you stumble across some awesome product.

    • @imjoshv
      @imjoshv  18 днів тому +1

      Yeah I love doing that! I stayed at the end of the video that this is a total pass and that was because I don’t have a lot of confidence in the build quality especially when seeing what the accessories were like. • @rodmunch69

Can I be sure that I will get enough water flow from my house into the inlet side of the machine to reach the GPM that you reach in you're testing?

      Yeah I totally agree. With the 3.0 nozzle the numbers were quite good!

  • @StevePierson123
    @StevePierson123 18 днів тому

    Quick way to test GPM - Put on a 4.0 nozzle. 700psi should be flowing close to 1.6gpm, 800 psi close to 1.7gpm, 900psi close to 1.8gpm, etc... But it has to be an accurate 4.0 nozzle. Pressure at the gun and flowrate go hand-in-hand.

    • @imjoshv
      @imjoshv  18 днів тому +1

      Hi Steve! You’re correct about psi and gpm going hand in hand. However a 4.0 won’t always perform the same on every unit. It’s depends on quite a few things. For some units a 4.0 is too small and others a 4.0 won’t give enough psi. Usually the higher psi gives lower gpm so we change the nozzle to a larger size to decrease psi and increase gpm
