I just did this on my BMW and I noticed a bit of a problem I had. When I cracked the bleeder valve air was being introduced from the threads of the valve where it meets the caliper. I wasn't able to get a lot of grease around the valve to stop this and didn't think much of it until reviewing this video again. For anyone trying this for the first time, make sure you get a good seal on the valve as shown in the video.
Thanks for this video. one person told me that if I get even tiny air bible breaks will be completely useless, your video shows other wise. Tomorrow going to local store to get bleeding pump. Thanks much
A couple of tips, take what you want from it. The brake fluid you used is very poor quality. It's up to you how much you want to spend, but high quality brake fluid handles heat and corrsion better and keeps seals in better condition. Also, vacuum bleeding is not the best way do a flush because it can introduce air at the bleeder valve that you won't be able to notice visually. The best way to bleed is doing the pressure bleeding method where the master cylinder is pressurized. Also, you have to start with the passenger rear side first as it's the furthest from the master cylinder.
Sorry for my ignorance. To me, it appears that you're just bleeding the brake fluid system to remove any bubbles. It doesn't seem like the intension is to completely replace the old fluid with the newer one. Am I correct?
my brakes have been squeaking for a year now with perfectly new pads & i’ve tried everything to solve it except this but i think you may have just solved my problem 😅
This is not full fluid change! What about fluid that is in the abs pump? I heard that if you wannna do full change you must have diagnostic interface to open velves in the pump.
Actually that is true. The ABS Pump holds a Lot of break fluid and isn’t flushed when you use this method. That is problematic because the break fluid doesn’t cycle through the system. So you should use Inpa. There are a few videos available on UA-cam on how to install ncs/inpa and how to use the brake fluid breeding protocol.

Gonna do this on my E60 in a few weekends from now and save myself almost $200 from the stealership.
All these videos are super helpful and make me more confident to work on my e90 thank you!
Glad you appreciate the videos! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video! 😭 I’m new to the bmw game and I needed this 🙏

Wow dude I like your E90 headlights ...where did you buy them?

Yes, I'm aware pressure bleeding is the best method. However, I did not have access to a pressure bleeder.
From where all that air come from ? I mean don't you feel any weak breaking points during drive? Thanks
Where can you buy jack like that please

If you watch the entire video, you'll see I completely flushed and replaced the fluid.
How come you had so much air on the rear? When I do it I get maybe one tiny bubble or two. It looked as if your lines were full of air!
Very good video, thank you.
Those rotors looking sick!
Thanks man!
nice! doing this over the weekend. You like those headlights?
Hope the brake flush went well, Patrick! I loved those headlights... so clean
Very very good video. Please could you provide links to the syphon pump and brake fluid kit you bought
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for reminding me! Just added the links!
Do you have any links to get that kind of sealant. My bleeding kit didn't include it
Smh bmw!! i have to do this sometime this week :( hopefully everything turns out well
It'll be fine. Don't worry!
900ml fluid will be enough for both front and rear?
Who teaches you this mechanic work
Me, myself, and I! All self taught.
What program are you using for video editing? Want to start some diy's of my own( bmw e91).
Final Cut Pro X
If you do, do NOT use music. It's annoying and adds zero value.
Look at the guys that have millions of views, such as Chris Fix. No music.
Nice job !!
Thanks!
Instead of the funnel, just insert a 32oz brake fuid bottle into the reservoir. Gravity won't make it overflow/spill
Where did you get that scissor jack? Is it homemade?
Yes. I made a video about it actually
Have You disconnect ABS sensor before brake flushing (bleeding)?
No
@@JDCarsChannel Thanks.

This might solve the problem! Give it a shot!
You should check wether you properly lubricated the brake pad clips. That’s a very common cause for squeaky brakes. :)
Gotta do this!
What order would you start on a 325i ? Rear right, rear left , front right , front left?
Same as demonstrated in the video
what's your rims and tires spec ? thx
Specs are listed in wheel and tire video
i did this last month, used a different kit
Good maintenance job!
Where did you get your car lift from?
Custom built... check out my video.
what front bumper is that bro?
Link in front sport lip video!
How many miles are on your e90 @jdcars
Currently at 189k miles.
How much brake fluid do you need to do this?
Personally, I used 2 liters to give it a good flushing.
Anyone know the name of the jack he uses at 1:56??
Custom built... check out my video on it!
What jack is that
Homemade

can anyone confirm if this is true? i heard you must use the INPA software via laptop to get this done the right way..

Video would be so much better without music
Dcs and abs units still full of old fluid tho 🙄
thiccccccc
Kalyn Koller too thick
not the right fluid even that it say dot3
he's a cutie..............i would date him.........................
