Only found your channel a couple of months ago. I've just watched all four parts of your epic journey back to back whilst full of flu, wrapped up and warm, slouching on the sofa. You're an inspiration Mr Haze and entertaining to boot. Never stop being yourself!!! Cheers!!!
To psyche myself up for my own crack at this (in 12 days and counting) I've been watching a fair few of these UA-cam travelogues about wild camping the C2C. Yours has been by far the most entertaining and satisfying to watch. I love how it turned into an emotional tribute to your grandad throughout the end part here. Big props to you. Wish me luck.
Firstly, I just want to say that watching your Coast to Coast hike has been great entertainment, your transparency and humour are both contagious and I looked forward to each upload. Secondly, I think that through this documentary you and your G'Dad's story will inspire many others to develop the love for hiking - what a legacy for you both to leave! Well done, mate. :)
Mate, without a doubt - this is THE BEST, most inspirational 4 parter I’ve ever seen on UA-cam. Your Grandparents will be proud and smiling down watching you. Haze Outdoors inspired me to start my own (small) channel, all because of the on screen rapport of you and Joey D. Don’t stop your videos mate - as you help a lot of people in ways you couldn’t know. Enjoy Northern Monk - it’s well deserved. All the best Hazey ⛰
It's from watching your videos that you've inspired me to drag my creaky self off the sofa and get outside into the beautiful countryside the South of England has to offer. I've just turned 30 and fallen into working every hour of the day (self employed sparks) and not looking after myself. Your videos have reignited something in me that I used to have of challenging myself to be better everyday. I am now training to do The South Downs walk as my first long hike and I am proper excited so I just wanted to come on and say thank you Haze
Hazey quite possibly the best four videos I’ve ever seen on UA-cam. Absolutely stunning and inspirational mate, I really do hope we get a northern monk John peeler in your honour.
Brilliant, just brilliant! First time I've binge watched a "series" on UA-cam. Compelling and inspirational, with a good smattering of good old northern humour. Well done that man!
Thoroughly enjoyed the vid, well done. The idea of finishing a days walk with a pint of Theakston in an English country pub is what dreams are made of.
Your an inspiration mate,You have no idea the impact you have on people's lives.Im struggling with life at the minute and you have just kept me going for another while. Thanks

Really enjoyed this, thanks for taking us along. I could feel the spirit of your Grandad the whole way -- and not because you interspersed the series with his photos -- because he did it.
What a great series. I did this walk 1986 with my father. He passed away 20 years ago. You have inspired me to walk it again in remembrance of my Father. I am now emo ......
Well done Hazey. Fabulous hike. I resonate with you hiking in memory of your grandad. He was no doubt a great guy - an inspiration. I have a long walk next year and at the heart of that is my brother Paul. Yes, he's still with me - they're all still with us. Take care. Mark
Great going awsome video your granda granny will be so proud of you good soul lovely guy thank you for taking on another exciting journey camping loved scenery lots fun to peace love stay safe 🙂🙂😅🤣😅🤣🥰🥰🥰
Out bulled a bull and created the best four part hiking adventure ever. Well done Hazey! Well fucking done man! You’re an inspiration to us all, thank you for sharing your story and adventure. ✌🏼
I will never be able to pass a carcase without a shouting for a medic. A meaningful journey in so many ways, thanks for effort. A great storyteller, extremely humorous guy, and a great filmmaker. I love the the fact that history of real people is being documented in in the digital age. The important histories are finally being told! Your Grandad lives on.
Did the Pennine way in honour of my grandad a good few years back. That was tough but amazing hike, and I got a bit emotional at the end too! Just watching get cheocked up at the end got me going again!! Lol! Good on ya, mate!!
Didn’t know who this guy was when I began watching and by the end I’m a top fan! I’ll be walking this coast to coast for MND charity, which my dad died of a few months ago, so it’s great to have gone through this route with this guy and the positivity he showed all the way. I’ll take a leaf out of his book. Cheers mate
Hazey... an epic battle and a great 4 parter, I enjoyed till the last, I want to see you fight a cow, it would be fun. Such a nice homage to your grandad to walk in his footsteps. Wet dreams do that to a tent dude :-) MEDIC!!!!!! LOL Well done mate... 6003 miles in 9 days, you da man. Lee
I've been re-watching this series for a while now, they've become my comfort videos and I'll never get tired of them. I still tear up every time at the end when you talk about your Grandad, especially as I relate to you with Grandparents of my own that got me into hiking & camping, they're the reasons I do what I do & why I love it so much. Well done Haze, I'll be coming back to these videos god know how many more times, especially before I set off to walk the CTC myself next year.
Your positivity, determination and honesty makes this series both inspirational and valuable. Havin' at'er in 6 weeks. Hope I can emulate your journey. But not in 9 days, thanks. Older than you and now (thanks to this visual journal) wiser than I was. Thanks and nicely done. 👍👍
Not sure if you’ll see this but you are awesome! What an achievement and for such an emotional reason. You are so real, open, honest and human. No falseness just real. Your grandad is proud x
The most amazing part of your journey is what we don't see when you're not filming. The thoughts that go through your mind to push and eliminate the pain is a trait only a few humans have. This was wonderful. Congratulations on your achievement. ✌️
Just sat and watched all of these. Haze you are a total legend. If only I had a walking buddy like you. Total inspiration! Keep the blogs coming as I cannot go back to normal TV, its total shat compared to this!
Great look as the Merlin of the Yorkshire moors. Magic with bull. Who knew alcohol was a cure for shin splints. I am hoping to be doing the same c2c in September. This is to build memories for the grand-daughter so perhaps she might do it when she is old enough. Great to have your memories of your granddad.
Great Saturday night viewing for me these videos and to share your journey. Well done Hazey, your priorities were right and you did your Granddad and Nan proud. Inspirational mate. Inspirational.👍
I've only just come across you & your videos. What an inspirational guy you are. Thankyou for creating such warm, thought provoking & interesting vlogs.
Mate this was a brilliant journey. Proper had a tear in my eye about your grandad. He would be proud of you. You come across as a top bloke. Hope to see you on a trail somewhere.
This series offers encouragement that there do indeed exist GREAT MEN in Britain. Men who publicly state their intentions, inviting ridicule should they "wimp out", then stay true to their word no matter what suffering they must endure along the way, until it has been completed just as they said it would. Britain needs such men right now!
I’ve just come across this series been subscribed for a while and I’ve watched 1 part each night at work when it’s gone quiet at my desk. You are a top bloke your humour and feelings come through the screen I throughly enjoyed this series! And you’ve made me want to do the C2C even more! Thanks buddy

You’re not as good looking as Julia Bradbury, but your C2C series was far superior. This is what a hiking video should be like - about the hiking. I’m hoping to do the Cotswold Way next year and now I’m thinking about documenting it too. Much Cheersness from Sunny Bristol 👍😉
Epic video series Sir. Your thumbnail makes you look like a young Rab C Nesbitt (Lima Oscar Lima) but the laddish bantz and your eye for the subtle beauties of nature makes it a very watchable adventure. Good stuff, and kind regards.
I admire your tremendous spirit and the respect you showed for your grandparents. Well done for making that journey and sharing it with like minded peeps.
