*80's C2 3.2 were my poster car when I first discovered 911 but I could just never afford one. Closest I came was one that had been partially dismantled for £3000 back in the mid 90's but I bought a 914/6 replica instead. It took until a couple of months ago for me to finally scratch that 911 itch though and I bought what was the cheapest non sunroof, manual 996.2 aero I could find which is when I discovered your videos. It's a tough choice you have there but I've always loved the Club Sport and I'd like to take my 996 down a similar path with lightweight seats, rear cage etc. Anyway, look forward to the next update.*
G15? G50 16:04, keep working on them, it will all make sense eventually-Great content guys-which you were in the US-You would have a solid business. Please provide content on your repair process.
Fantastic video, great to see two back to back. I’ve had three 3.2’s. Please lift the rear wiper before lifting the engine lid, it’s painful to watch when you don’t lol. Can’t wait to see the next vid. I’d go with the red one.
My fave model is a black 996 C4S But These are gorgeous looking and sounding cars , white my choice , love red Fuchs Nice video Boys Lucky B’s 🙏😎🏴
Great condition on those Carreras. We see them like that here in California but I'm impressed to that in your neighborhood. If you decide to fix that 3rd gear synchro, I've got just about every internal bit and lots of stock gear sets for the 915 box. Cheers
Hi Clifton. You'd expect our salt-ridden roads to have rotted the undersides, but you could be forgiven for thinking these had been freshly imported from sunny California!
Fantastic video guys, difficult decision to make on which to keep, personally I would choose the red one as it is more original, plus o have a guards red 997.2 Carrera S. bye the the way I watch all your posts and thoroughly enjoy 👍
"Bloody postman." Hahaha! Best line from Ollie yet. I don't know why your brakes didn't start smoking when you drove them since they were so tight. I had that happen on an Audi once and someone stopped me to tell me they were smoking. I think I like the red one best. The white one just doesn't shine. I really want to see a video on that black one in front. I think it's beautiful. I loved watching Ollie in the car. He has such an expressive face. I'm sure he knocks the birds dead with those bright blue eyes. I've been waiting for a long time for you to do another video where you do a thorough inspection of cars. Those short showings of a car just don't make it. Looking forward to seeing Ollie do the work on these while you hold the camera. Lol
Well, did Ollie finally figure out the mirror switch R/L under the ignition switch, and the adjuster nob on the top of the door? Lol. German engineer…I zink I put svitch here were der ist room…
The white one has a factory tail. By now it may have been installed after the fact. But, it is a factory option according to Nathan Merz. Great vid, as always.
I’d keep the red one, to me it seems the more honest car, not been interfered with. The white one is closer to standard spec than it is to a CS so take it back to standard and sell it.
If you ever get the chance, would love to see a side-by-side comparison of the G50 vs. the G15 (915?) transmissions. Everybody says the G50 is such a great tranny, would like a comparison. I have the Aisin 6 sp. in my 997 and it is fantastic. How does the G50 compare to the Aisin?
The White car is lovely… but there’s something about that red one! That’s the one I’d keep - but then, my 996 is Guards Red, i’m biased - but it just pops - end of.
I don't know what's worse Luke. You eating an ice-cream in a 911, or keep seeing your nipples! 🤣🤣 The white one looks lovely. but got to be guards red mate! love your videos.
915 gearbox . Do the bushings will improve change. . Lighter and better than later G50 which suffer from drivetrain chunter. I had 4 of these when they were better value! Great to see youngsters getting involved . You can hear your excitement! There's nothing like them ... and yes lift the rear wiper before engine cover! Looks like they are both suffering from lack of use like so many.. because they are expensive nobody bloody uses them any more. They rot from the inner box sections that run front to back from the rear wheel arch and parallel to the doors have a proper look when rear wheels off. Check front wings too. They can look fine from the outside. If you decide to keep the red I’d be interested in the white one please. I have a mint 996 C2 tip S gen 2 to px Hartech Engine rebuild 72k
I have to disagree with you on the 915 (The 1st gear asymmetrical dog ring along with pressed on synchro teeth for 1st and 2nd and it needs an oil cooler) to a G50 (Is a Better) gearbox. With a G50, you can install a Patrick Motorsport close ratio gearset, LSD and a Wevo Shifter and you're in a different performance league. You can't do that with a 915. Yes I have 2 G50 3.2-3.4 911 Pcars and wrench myself from across the pond where the steering wheel is on the left side. (Respectfully)
@@friendsgreenporsche5234 The red looks great too honestly and it’s really just preference. I would like black Fuchs or bronze. Polished would look great too!
Hi Antonio Palmero. Thanks for your viewing. I’m not sure what your comment is implying, but to learn more about the business, please visit www.friendsgreenporsche.com. Best regards Luke
Ollie’s the star of this video. His facial expressions and deadpan comments are very funny!
Guards red car Luke. No doubts!!
I'm afraid it has to be the red one to keep. You lucky man!
Awesome video, looking forward to part 2! I'd keep the red one
Guards red every time !
Two beautiful specimens. Guards Red, yes please!
Excellent to see appreciation for the classic 911 as well as the 996/997. All fantastic in their own ways. Enjoy.

You guys are cool. From where I’m from, that’s a compliment. Cheers friends

Like the red but the white is better condition wise!
My fave model is a black 996 C4S

Great video ,nice problem to have , choosing which one to keep 😀
Brilliant video, as always 👍

White one is sharper, would however be happy with either. Great channel love the content.👌
There is something crisp and clean about the white, isn't there? Thanks for watching
Hi lads. Loving the bromance you two have and is there a Part 2 to this as can’t find it??? Thanks 👍
Good vid- thx for sharing
Great videos guys keep up the good work
Great video and great cars!
You should keep the white so the beautiful and original guards red hits the market😉
Well, did Ollie finally figure out the mirror switch R/L under the ignition switch, and the adjuster nob on the top of the door? Lol. German engineer…I zink I put svitch here were der ist room…

You just can't beat a 3.2 Carerra. Great video boys. My choice would be a G50 in Silver with Blue interior and rear spoiler/front air dam delete.
Great video but you’re right, keep the red one.
Both are amazing but I think guards red is classic Porsche.
I’d keep the red car but another interesting video on to great car’s 👍🏾
As much as I love guards red, I would do the GP white, it looks so close to a CS that you might as well rob the exhaust from the red one 🔥
Amazing cars Luke. Great video. Informative and interesting.
Thank you Mike. I hope you're keeping well!

Keep the red - a classic Porsche
Keep the red one

The reg on the white one could almost be a private plate for Ollie 😂
I don't know what's worse Luke. You eating an ice-cream in a 911, or keep seeing your nipples! 🤣🤣 The white one looks lovely. but got to be guards red mate! love your videos.
Love that air cooled sound. Guards red to keep. White one looks molested with those dodgy looking wheels
Which car was kept?

Keep both, period!
Both cars originally registered at the same licensing office so probably out the same supplying dealer
Keep them both, you’ll regret letting one go
If money (and space) was no object!

Keep both they're getting harder to find
Guards Red every time for me...
I personally would keep the white one and change the wheels :- )
What colour would you opt for on the wheels? I rather like the club sport evocation!
@@friendsgreenporsche5234 The red looks great too honestly and it’s really just preference. I would like black Fuchs or bronze. Polished would look great too!
never skip leg days...
I'm guessing Ollie would rather be in a 997 turbo, def not an air cooled fan lol.
He's a fan of anything with a Porsche shield on the nose, but I think you're right, he'd probably prefer a 997 Turbo!
Stick to the T shirt lol 😂
Red one all the way
Please may i order a tee shirt?
Thanks mummy and daddy.
