Hey Miranda...I just ordered your Kitty Coloring Book (in the card stock.) I used to color a lot, but then wanted to develop my own fine art...but coloring is the thing that got me back into doing my own art after taking art in high school and community college & only doing a little bit over the years. It also improved my skills with color mixing, blending/layering, trying out color combinations, shading & highlighting. And then, of course, we all know how great it is just for relaxing and fun. So your coloring pages are so adorable and I'm looking forward to receiving it and I will share mine with, for sure. 👍

Both pictures were so much fun! I'm really into colouring with markers at the moment, so I particularly enjoyed the second picture. I like that you added stripy wallpaper too! 😄
Thanks! The markers are one of the more enjoyable mediums to use in my studio. Trying colored pencils in the book tomorrow...

Hi Miranda, I remember when you first drew the cats for inktober. I am so glad your coloring books finally came to fruition. I would probably buy anything you sold as long as it is under a hundred dollars and only because you are one of my favorite artists. So if you want to make a larger coloring book with higher quality paper, I will buy one. But of course it only works if enough other people commit to buying one too.
I love your two pictures you colored. While you were coloring and talking I was making swatches for my paints. I am trying to get organized. Lol, as if that is a thing.😂 At least for me.
I'm so impressed that you were making swatches at the same time. I usually get way too distracted with YT to work at the same time unless it's a podcase YT video or Linday's Sat Chats. Lol. So glad you are getting organized.
Hullo Miranda, I am so glad I purchased your coloring book! My wife loves her present, I will say she was just a little sad when there were images on both sides, she said "How do I choose which ones to frame??" I said maybe they are better for practice? She was not happy with my answer. I said we can always transfer a favorite to another piece of paper. Maybe you can sell a choice of books with one image per sheet? I would be happy to pay for fewer images or pay for more sheets per book. You would charge more for the larger books, Single image a page books? I know it is so hard to keep customers happy we/they all want something different! Creating pay per order products is fine when you have plenty of time to do them. I remember times when I felt I was just a store keeper and no longer an Artist! I did not last long. I hope you decide to keep your creating Art in the forefront of your Art journey and selling as a bonus. Selling finished artworks is so very different from selling merchandise based on your artworks!
I thing this is why sites like Red Bubble and similar online stores are flourishing! I have stopped buying any paper but cotton paper for painting my watercolors. I do have quite a collection of papers that I use for mixed media and soft pastels. Turning printmaking papers into pastel ready surfaces is a chore but I have saved quite a bit just by using my previously purchased papers and adding a grit to the different papers to make pastels stick! Oh My, I have run on. I hope your well and have yourself a Happy New Years too!
Great idea! 👍 I was thinking today now that I'm doing all my own binding and printing that I could offer some more options but I'm also leaving the state for a month in less than 2 weeks, so I'll have to see what I think I can manage. Good options, though!
@@MirandaWatsonArt You can make a set order and "special" orders take more time/money to create and this will "weed out" the casual complainers or actual customers!
