the " where's paladin " players are only asking because they have no intention of supporting , all they want to do is figure out if dpsadin is good or not ( it's not ) .

Class aesthetics are a big part of choosing a class for me (And I think a lot of people) and the bard just didn't seem all that interesting, that and the harp noises are annoying. If they had a heavy metal skin and let me support my team while riffing some sick tunes I'd be all over it.

Maybe they should consider reworking artillerists' turret mode into a mech or something so you can at least walk. I main artillerist and his identity feels so dissapointing and awkward to use. Donno what they should do about the counter mechanics tho
slow movement could be a good compromise, cause make you need to know where to put it but can stil fix position a little

A bit late to this. Benji, if Reaper is the most mobile class; why is it dead last compared to Blade that is high on top? They play slightly different, but are fairly similar from my understanding. Sorry, I don't know for sure as I'm a global player. But hoping you may have the answers. Thanks!

Hello Benji , really love your videos where you show your inisights and opinions on classes. I myself am an avid brawler/fighter person . Striker is arguably the most insane looking class to me personally , i see a lot of worry bc hes a back attack class compared to the wardancer where its easier and more straight forward. Should i send it and hope the supposedly balance patch for back attacks or head attacks fix the class at higher tiers of gameplay or play it safe and roll wardancer? much love
The devs said they will keep the head/back attack system because it makes the game more interesting. But they will make it sort of like a 'bonus form', and i myself is waiting to find out what this means. I guess what I'm trying to say in the video is, knowing the stress going into it and finding out about the stress playing it are different so if u still want to play the class, you should go for it.
@@macjoobyung So thinking about the stress of struggling might be different than actually playing and coming to the conclusion that yeah it's a bit annoying to deal with. Deadeye would do more damage if u had a gunlancer and deathblade in the party. Lost ark is a party synergy game.

in US/EU Paladin is extremely popular, a lot of people playing it play DPS instead of a support build. I think that's why they ask
I hope they take off Deadeye back attack and make riffle and handgun deal more damage.

I heard 150ms isn't that bad for pve contents. I'm not sure about pvp tho.
Played russia with 230 ping didnt feel shit. Im gnna be at 70 with NA east. So def not gnna feel anything. Game has excellent latency optimization
There are grandmasters on russian server that play from NA with 150ms. Not ez but obv doable and if it just casually enjoying ull be fine
There is another thing to consider though, if this ping is constant or unregular. As far as I've heard, stable bad ping (if not extremely high) is kinda playable but if it's uneven then you will feel much more difficult. It is high ping, but like mentioned should not be a problem unless you get some special situation where even miliseconds count (and most people are not all that fast so..).

I could just have the wrong opinion here, but I feel like Most engravings in the game are very...lackluster. Very formulaic. Most are A) Enhance your class gauge abilities/buffs or B) Remove what makes your class special entirely for a damage buff. And thats basically all we get. I wish there were more options than just 2 engravings per class, especially when they are mostly very boring in my opinion.

Some class rely on back attacks or head attacks. The non positional don't
@@macjoobyung "Rely" means they don't deal any bonus damage on those back and head attacks or it's not as significant than for the positional ones? Also thanks for the reply

It's automatic indicator you turn on or off in the settings. This is only applied to latest contents in kr i believe? The west version should get the patch or they will start appearing towards the late end game.

Seeing your opinions and gameplay with Lance Master just makes me want the class even more. For now I'm just playing Scrapper since as much as I like the big numbers of Soulfist when I land the spirit bomb, I miss it more often than not. Since it wasn't mentioned in this video(maybe because it's too new or because it's a support) but what's the general consensus on Artist? I'm absolutely in love with the aesthetic of her skill effects.

Some class specific engravings are just too vastly popular and picked too compared to others. Like taking Shadow Hunter for example, if you look at everyone in town majority of them are all Demonic Impulse copared to the perfect supression. So it seems like other engravings are falling behind.
Non class speicifc engravings too such as Grudge and Cursed doll, while i understand its the meta, which explains their price. Compared to the rest, there should not be that huge of a disparity.

seems like kr server is really toxic, elitist, and judgmental on classes. kinda sad when ppl just want to have fun with the character they enjoy but cant because the hate bandwagoning and pile on bullying certain classes receive like reaper.... hopefully its not the same in the western servers.
Toxicity in online gaming culture isn’t exclusive to KR Servers.
It can and has been just as toxic in the west.
It’s just how it is in general unfortunately 😔

I'm not 100% sure but it did happen to KR and the director did say it's for the sake of future of the game so.. I do think it's going to happen eventually if not from the beginning.

Im barding alt (well one reason is : im plat pack user and the best costume for the pack is bard imo and it looks only decent on SF 😄) , dun like selfish support classes (pala damage build) ... ppl playing them sometimes sneak themselves into a party without support setup . I dun like "can do everything" classes in general . Holy trinity all the way . I do like gunlancer though , some weird affection goin on there .

Well everyone thinks that support is gonna be needed in raids. Paladin is the easier of the two (and less annoying with the bard pings) with the larger aoes so basically when you make a class just to get in raids might as well go with the easier one and have fun playing your alts. Very bad way of thinking though since bard and pally are great classes and fun. Though i do like the aesthetics of paladin betterfor some reason myself

design of some class and engraving are really questionable.
Tried striker, dodge most boss attacks but some Bosses have aoe hits u cant dodge and u take so much damage being so close. So basically its just potion spam with really weak damage. They should remove back attack or something its terrible
People also need to understand some classes, like Wardancer, are complete dogshit until you get it to T3. Once at T3 it's one of the best dps classes in the game. Prior though have fun.

It's a great choise I think! I was thinking of going Wardancer before but got stuck with other. But absolutely could be a 3-4th alt. This champ is supposed to be popular in groups, because of the synergy (buffs). What I like was the mobility and sustain dmg she has, looks really fun!

In the west alot of people like me don't find the attraction of a female character in a swimsuit. I want to play a bad ass looking man not try to get thrills looking at some female cpu animated boobs . I'd also like a cool pet like a eagle or raven while I slay monsters not a bunny rabbit or cute kitty cat but that's just my opinion.

I think that fragile, easily punishable classes like Sorceress should have the highest damage. They have long wind ups and require deep boss knowledge to land it all without the boss just moving away. Against many bosses, it's easy to miss some skills and once that happens, you're no longer on top. I don't think it makes sense that a class who moves fast and whose only condition is to stand behind big bosses, warrants the damage crown.
I feel like the damage hierarchy in lost ark is pretty much where it should be. Squishy mages should be the highest, then assassins, then maybe gunners and last, the tanky warriors. I think it wouldn't make sense if sorceress wasn't rewarded with the highest damage so long she actually lands all her stuff and plays properly.
Agreed, why would anyone play an immobile, slow casting class if it didn't come with big damage. Getting a full sorceress burst off without dying is probably one of the most skill intensive pve things in this game.
