Great choice for Game of the Year! You were the only reviewer that I saw that wasn't nitpicking it and was very impressed. It's SO satisfying to play and visually AMAZING!
@@stevelenores5637 Yes it has Steve. Most people now a days are buying games digitally. If you are having problems with storage space, then buy a SSD HDD. I bought a 2TB and I have tons of games on my PS5 now. Haven't had a storage problem since i bought it. Trust me, that is the solution.
Played Behemoth after the Day 7 patch and it was amazing! Completely lived up to the hype in my opinion, the behemoths were the star of the show obviously, but the human combat was also some of the best in VR. Fingers crossed for a DLC with a new Behemoth or even a Behemoth 2 announcement🤞
Agree with pretty much all of this, though you've finally convinced me to give vertigo a chance. Been hovering over it for a while but you including in the goty sealed the deal 👌
My experience with Vertigo 2 included several save ending bugs where I would restart under the stage and unable to play. That was 6 months after release post patches. It was a fun game until I lost progress 3 times and noped out.
This year, I mostly played Resident Evil 4, Ancient Dungeon, Metro Awakening and Into the Radius. My game of the year would be Into the Radius, but to be honest they're all excellent in their own way. I'll probably buy Behemoth and Alien later, but I want to know more about Arken Age first (and give the devs more time to polish their games). I can't buy everything all at once, I have to chose which game to buy in priority.
So happy you gave Into the Radius a heads up, my most immersive VR experience i had, what a game, pure immersion and so good, love it! Also the others great picks and agree with Behemoth GOTY.
For me behemoth was amazing . I got pretty mad with the bugs and made a few angry comments but the final patch solved most issues . They still need to block off the behemoth areas as you can still fast travel there once you've completed the game and the game goes a bit weird with fake textures and flashing screen .
Great choices, difficult to disagree with any to be honest… and that’s a good thing! 100% with you on Helldivers 2. My brother finally upgraded to a PS5 and said he’d got Helldivers 2, so I picked it up not knowing much about it. It’s not really the kind of game I’d go for but I’ve sunk over 350 hours into it. It’s fun, it’s addictive, great community, devs constantly updating and keeping it fresh… just need a VR mode now and it’ll be perfect 😅
Just got my PSVR 2 yesterday, absolutely loving it so far, by far the best VR headset I’ve owned so far, reprojection luckily doesn’t bother me, Mura I barely notice, headset is great so far, works great on my pc too 🎉
Great job with the list, Jammy! I was a bit surprised that Walkabout edged out GT7 for best ongoing game (considering how much coverage you've given GT7's updates), but it's a strong pick for sure. Hope you're having a good holiday season. It's been great to see your channel gain traction over the past year. Can't wait to see what 2025 holds! 🍻
Great list. I guessed all of them except "Best Shooter" (I bought ITTR on launch and have hardly touched it! So much shame...) and "Best Soundtrack". I was certain you were going to pick Metal Hellsinger (I'm not a huge fan of metal, but it's so good in that game). I picked up Vertigo 2 the other week and look forward to jumping in (sooooo much backlog!). Keep it up, and happy holidays, Jammy!
Just bought one getting it next week, perfect storm in Canada . The latest price drop from Sony and we are having a GST holiday made this a deal too good to pass on. GST in Canada for those not living here is a 7% tax on all goods purchased.
Had the psvr 1 before but got a psvr 2 in the sales and the difference in clarity is incredible. I Played resident evil 4 and at the start in the basement the ganado came down the stairs and I took one look at it ran past him up the stairs, and bolted it to the front door past the other two ganados walking around. My fight or flight kicked in for real the immersion was that good. Obviously it was locked so I had no choice but to fight but it was an incredible experience and captured that “psvr2 is amazing” moment.
Pretty spot on list, glad compound got a mention. I think a category for game made by one person should be there, and that would be Vertigo 2 for me. Surprised behemoth got 1st, For me it is Metro, with Alien or vertigo 2 second and Behemoth 3rd. But understandable choice.
Just got my PlayStation wrap-up for the year and the funniest stat was the whopping 5 hours of Multiplayer gameplay time total all Year! 😂 Guess I’m not getting any value from PS Plus 😂. My biggest PSVR2 purchase regret is Vertigo 2 since launch. Loving Behemoth! 12 hours in so far.

The Psvr2 has a green like grainy film i see playing re4, and it has a binocular vision and the 110 field view isn't enough. It may be better for others cause im blind in one eye so maybe it's clear for everyone else
Turn off the vignette mode in the options. That will give you that binocular effect. They do that to keep people from getting motion sickness. I always turn it off because to me it sucks. Looks like tunnel vision. Hope that helps.
@tomg1282 I don't see no vignette mode in the re4 options, I do see tunnel vision and I Been turned that off....but I don't see anything about that mode
@okthen5566 Maybe that was it. I turned mine off too. Sorry. Other games say vignette mode. Maybe RE4 says it different. If you turned off tunneling that should do it.
@tomg1282 it still has a binocular vision even when you turn tunnel vision off, but thanks for mentioning vignette mode cause the only vr games I got is re4 and horizon will be getting more games soon
I have no idea why people continue to say Madison is the scariest game. If it wasn't for the cheap jump scares it is basically just a slow walk through a dark house with obscure puzzles. Any game would be "scary" if it throws up scary looking creatures with a loud sound in front of your face but does that make it a scary game? I was really disappointed with it after all the hype. The "scares" got to be more annoying than scary. Take away the jump scares & what do you have? Basically a dull game. If you really want to play an actual scary game then play Alien Isolation in VR. That game is absolutely terrifying. (Played on PSVR2 on PC).
Well isolation is not on psvr2 so quit your moaning. Maddison is insane and everyone thinks the same apart from you. Boring people think all games are boring! The issue lies with one’s self
