Lakers could not trust their wing players for catch & shoot 3-pointers during that 1st Round Playoff elimination. So Jerami Grant fits perfectly, shooting 40% for 3-pointers, 2.1 made per game off 5.1 attempts at 21 points per game.

I would love for Cam reddish to stay he played great in the in season tournament but got hurt… I think it’s way too early to give up. The Hawks NY and Portland didn’t give him a chance but when the lakers need a Vando type player he stepped up and with some help from JJ his scoring can definitely improve

New trade rules and aprons make it near impossible for Lakers or any teams above Luxury tax to really be able to help their team get better. It is asking someone to swim with weights tied to their arms and legs.

Rui + Gabe + Cam + 1st rd pick would be a generous offer for an overpaid 30-y.o. player. Or rather stack together three 1st rd picks, offload Rui and go all-in for Mikal Bridges, who's younger and has a much more reasonable salary.

Trade D'Lo and Gabe, keep Spence. If they can trade D'Lo, Gabe, and Jax for Jo Val or a good center, then go. Keep the 17th to draft Edey and develop the shit out of that guy, he's the next Yao Ming. Get AD his agility and mobility back and lose him some weight to slide him to the 4. Bron can be either a PG or a SF but lessen the load on him and focus more on AD, AR, and Hachi. Keep Vando, Prince, Reddish if can then they can sign any PG that fits, doesn't have to be a really good player but a solid role player preferrably a PG to be used as reliever.
