The parole committee who released him should be sentenced too for causing 2 murders.
Right
That depends on what the parole committee knew at the time. The USA has the highest prison occupancy per 1,000 of population of any nation. Any attempt to reduce that is commendable.

Well done, young lady.

I dunno, maybe racial profiling is way way overblown and not really a legit factor to the extent we are made to believe... or maybe it does happen on occasion. And if this girl DID in fact profile Bomar as the kind of guy she'd rather drive away from, bumper damage be damned, then it's only logical to conclude such a judgement almost certainly saved the young girl's life.

But he was neglected and how dare reporters question him. Sarcasm here
The prison reform activists get innocent people raped and killed.
I am tearing up thinking of these victims, and I dont even know them. This is horrible.
I would have preferred him being put in prison for life, for the simple reason that his co inmates would have given him the same treatment and quash his ego plus attitude to a pulp! Let them feel their miserable existence to their last breath if not prison justice have shortened it by then.
I don't care about his "difficult' childhood and 'low self esteem" many others have these problems and dont do what he did
@@gradetrend8138 When it comes to crimes as heinous as these, that stuff really shouldn't even be part of the conversation outside of deep-diving long format media coverage. It's like how Ted Bundy leaned into the whole "porn is getting so graphic and violent that it put ideas on my head that were never there" narrative to divert some blame and make himself appear a more sympathetic figure.
Agreed
@@michaelcoletta4547 agreed! How many other 15yr Olds had a difficult childhood and wrangled with self esteem issues? At some point he realized that the only path out of incarceration was to be part of a specific narrative. On that note, I'm sympathetic to what the Menendez brothers went through in their childhood, but there were others in a similar predicament that didn't go on to murder their parents . The inheritance they knew they would receive is being downplayed by them and their sympathizers. I agree that maybe the charge should have been manslaughter rather than first degree, but for anyone to commit crimes as henious as the people mentioned above and get off scott free over the excuses they gave is reprehensible

Early childhood neglect affects the development of the brain. His growth was stunted.
Dale Yeager, Criminalist Analyst, was correct when said “there are a few people who can be reformed” is very true. And this killer, Arthur Bomar, was indeed one of them. And for the Nevada parole board to give him parole after serving only 11 years, being convicted of second degree murder, was appalling. How could he be paroled??? To commit more crimes like he did?? Calling him "human garbage" is an insult to garbage.
It's a good idea to have the automatic locking mechanism turned on and not step out in the middle of the night. If you are stalked just keep driving to the police station. Or find ways to circle around town while contacting the authorities. If you get behind your stalker you'll be safer as well. A few rounds in a roundabout will make sure if you are being followed or not. No need to stop.
Sswwawwww

Yeah, it’s pretty scary. My first instinct would be to stop too… After watching this, I won’t do that anymore 😅
Btw, just stopping with your doors locked is a scary thought. I’m pretty sure this killer would just bash in the window to get what he wants…
Use the method of just taking 3-4 right turns around a given block to see if they follow you …..if it’s over 3-4 turns , chances are pretty good you’re being tailed.
His disgusting family should be locked away with him! How could you be angry, when your family member murdered multiple other human beings, in cold blood!? Seriously, abhorrently absurd!

Those peoples families always defend their criminal kids.
@dextermorgan4093 yes because the majority of forensics files aren't with a certain group who have family members defending killers non-stop. Nice try though
Not the first time someone convicted of life gets out and kills again. It would be nice if we got rid of parole and criminals actually served the entire sentence. So many lives would be saved if we did this but of course not, we let them out and they attack again as soon as they’re out. Infuriating.
You are spot on! And criminals who are released should be equipped with an unremovable tracking device, so that their whereabouts can be traced at any moment. When a crime occurs it would then be easy to check if any released criminals were present at that particular place and time.

Fact: convicted murderers who are executed NEVER REPEAT🙁
And if they were wrongly convicted, the daage cannot be undone. George Bush as State Governor is said to have signed a death warrant for a man who was wrongly convicted: he was entitled to act on the conviction record. In England, a man was hanged for the murder of his wife, who was killed in fact by a serial killer of women. The real killer was caught after a later homicide. No matter what the Murdch Press advocate, a prisoner is still a human being.
Yes, many more of them should be executed or never released.

This is one of those cases that sticks with me But, in this case since my parents were familiar with this case - both at the time and watching this episode. In fact, Aimee’s uncle was involved in a business of installing windows and had actually installed windows in my house. I was unaware as I was very little but it’s weird how you have a connection to the victim (sort of) or in this case, their family member.
Bombay should never have been released in the first place. While some (emphasis on “some”) criminals can be rehabilitated, Bomar was seriously not one of them. He’s one of many criminals on this show that deserves Dexter’s table, especially with how he acted after being convicted. I just hope Aimee’s family are in a better place today.
RIP Aimee Willard, Maria Cabuenos, other victims, those who knew them that’d passed in recent years, and Peter Thomas.
They should let Bomar loose and relocate him to the same neighborhood that the parole board people live. The ones that set him free after only 11 years of a life term. Then wish their wives and daughters good luck. How pathetic and tragic. They are directly responsible for all his killings after setting him free.

There is absolutely no reason to leave demons like this alive.
I love true crime.. but every case such as this, makes me think of my 4 year old daughter laying in there asleep... and the unimaginable torture a parent must feel to experience their child not only being senselessly & viciously murdered... but to know they suffered through being violated, had to live thru unimaginable terror prior to having their lives taken... I truly can't imagine. I recently lost my husband, my bestfriend, my world.. at 35 to cancer.. and the devastation is unbearable... but I truly can't imagine having to live through something like this as a parent.
