Dad Melvin is the sweetest 🤍
I was hoping for an update on the cat & the 5 kids.
It’s 2023 and he’s still in prison . He finally admitted he did it .
Just an fyi for everyone :)
Thanks for the update. Law enforcement obviously got the right person then.
This episode is ridiculously Canadian lol! Especially the east coast. They have the best sense of humour. Too funny about the cat not cooperating. 😂
My two favorite things combined. Forensics and cats!
Well, look what the cat dragged in.
Doug Beamish
Canadian justice system almost always trolls the victim. The punishments are always ridiculously mild compared to the offense.
18 years? He will be out in less time if he displays good behavior. Really sad that is no justice for her.
The sentence is life. 18 years is the non parole period. So no.
Yay snowball for cracking the case 🧬🦠🧫🧪🔬🩸🩻🔍🤍 🐈

I like what a theology expert said, "Cult + time=religion."
There wasn't a Snowball's chance in hell he was going to get away with that.
Aww...snowball is beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
I’m addicted!
@simon from india brother
Just 18 years for this horrendous crime? Injustice for sure.
oh my poor snow ball. such a very adorable cat ♡♡♡
Why did they waist the time? They let him go instead of the death penalty. More corrupt judges and prosecutors.
Canada doesn't have death penalty. They are foolish that way
The courts are ran by Lucifer. The destroyer of life. It will get unimaginably worse until our messiah, Yeshua, returns and destroys all evil

Waste
He got 18-life and was denied release at his last hearing according some other comment I read. So I think he’s basically got life and the 18 years was when he was eligible for release, like 25-life in the states.
Yea! Snowball !

18 years?!
18 years to kill a young innocent woman? That's absolutely ridiculous
“You now have learned enough to see that cats are much like you and me.” - T.S. Eliot
“We’ve learned that applies to their DNA too, and Doug Beamish now wishes that this wasn’t true.” - Peter Thomas
The combination of those lines was so epic I got chills running down my spine.
"Snowball wasn't at all cooperative." Hahaha
People really need to be educated on trauma bonding. I feel like it would help ppl understand abuse victims better
Yes, but I think if you ALWAYS have abusive people around, there's something that makes them hone on you. You grow up w emotional immaturity (Lindsay Gibson, life changer's book), and it seems normal or you don't recognize serious danger. Imo
See Lindsay Gibson. I think w Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents, you get immune to abuse and keep attracting them to you or it feels comfortable.
We have 5, five cats. Cats think they are 🐅 🐯 🐅 TIGERS. WE LOVE ❤️ THEM.
Catastrophic for Doug!
I bet good Ole Doug is stilling saying ..."f**k you snowball!" 😂😂😂
"Snowball was less than cooperative"......
The Sheriff called psychics to help?
Might as well call the Easter bunny, as well.
only 18 years that is not justice
At one point I was so confused on the case because of the cat thank God that help them solve the case I feel so sorry for her father and her kids❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 and it’s amazing that he didn’t even spend hardly any time in jail 😭
Too bad her dad didn’t get a hold of him!!
Another good title for the episode- “The Snowball Effect”
18 years for killing your wife?
Well, that's a slap in the wrist!
No wonder they kill at will.
18 years? That's ridiculous
Hell yeah let's hear for Snowball
His blood in her car, the shoes, coat....I'm sure was a factor in convicting him. Only 18 years? What a shame
Why only 18 years? He need way more then that!
13:23 Oh my god, that's the BEST thing I've ever seen in true crime!
It may not have been intentional but I do like how they seemingly try to throw in a little light-hearted humor into this show
@@thewillofabeast9079 it probably wasn't intentional, but a bit of humor, here and there, in a light-hearted manner is a nice way to brake away from the rest of the horrors going on around.
18 years!?
Sadly, Melvin Duguay, Shirley's father, died in 2005. He was 78 years old.
