Sonne is one of my favourite song's of all time, Rammstein's new material is really really good, most bands fade as the years go but Rammstein have remained true and their new music is as strong as their early stuff!

You have to watch "Zeit", "Angst" and "Adieu". They are very deep and powerful. Another very creative video from older times would be "Sonne".
And if you wanna get something more of their funny side, "Zick Zack" would also be interesting.
I concur except with "Adieu". It has so many Rammstein references that I do suggest it to be watched after a longer time in the Rammstein rabbit hole.
For me Zeit is their best musical piece and i really hope they will cover that one. The video is great too.

They have a lot fantastic videos. Funny is for example "Pussy" live @ Madison Square Garden or as uncensored video, you can only see at adult websites or vimeo.
A deep video is "Zeit" or "Deutschland". "Mein Herz brennt" is very creepy and there´s a also creepy, but very artistic piano version of this song.
Time for Ich Tu Dir Weh live at Madison square garden. A banger for sure I guarantee you you will love it.
There were some Germans in Madison square garden before WW2. You know what they were doing there.
You should Not miss another important puzzle piece to complete your picture of Rammstein. "Mein Herz brennt", the piano version. Another master piece, may be the best of All.
My recommendation is to watch the standard video of 'Mein Herz brennt" fist, in my opinion the piano version has much more of an impact after watching the normal version.
For another more comedic video i'd also recommend 'Zick Zack'.

The video was recorded in the Alpine region of Austria, in Tyrol, just like "The Sound of Music" by the way. The chorus of the song comes from the children's song "Muss i Denn zum Städtele hinaus..." which is very well known throughout the German-speaking world (Germany,Austria, Switzerland). You may know it from the song “Wooden Heart” by Elvis Presley.

Well it might be recorded in Austria,but if i look the clouthing Tracht and Leserhosen has to be Bavaria.
I doubt it was filmed there for it's connection for The Sound of Music. Back in the seventies, Bavaria and Tyrol were known for... a certain type of movie of the adult variation. So no doubt it's a nod to that.

The clothing (Tracht/Lederhosen) is a group called "Bayerische Tracht" which is an overall term for different variantions that are prominent in the whole upper german region including also Austria - the clothing seems to be a bit cobbled together from diffent styles

FYI Rammstein is in Austria, Ramstein is a US airforce base in Germany, all the members of the band originate from eastern Germany (Berlin), one even flew to the west, but returned after the fall of the wall.

This can be pretty much everywhere in the Alpine region, which encompasses Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, but also the southern part of Germany (mostly Bavaria but certain parts of Baden-Württemberg as well), the northern part of Italy and a bit of France.
The video was actually filmed in Ellmau in Austria.

The band part in the beginning is so called "Oom-pah" band (a.k.a. umca kapela in Czech) and it is traditional Central European thing...not just for Germans but also for their neighbours in areas bordering Germany. You can hear them often times during folk festivals in villages even these days.

The dance with clapping on the thighs and slapping each others face is really a traditional thing in southern Germany. Switzerland, Austria, Northern Italy and Southern Germany are a lot a like. Its basically one Region. If you go to the area you can visit 4 countries in the distance of North Carolina to Georgia. Actually 5. Southern France also a little to the left. :D The Letherpants and the female Dirndl Dresses are very common in the south still for Octoberfests and Townfests. I like em a lot :D I think this is kind of a comedic approach on the whole objectification thing. Its Rammstein so they have to go overboard so someone will yell "Scandal" again :D Its just fun and a parody for some of the critics they have. If people think you glorify cannibalism, r*pe, murder and so on then jut give em what they want basically... Some people do not understand that they dont glorify the subjects they sing about, but that Till for example writes lyrics or poetry from maybe a Cannibal like Armin Meiwes point of view or through his eyes. Critics sometimes think that he writes his opinion on things but that is jsut not the case. So this song with the video is a middlefinger to that :D Best part is that if ex gfs of Till get asked once again about certain things they all say he is chilled as eff and they are all good friends with him. Sophia Thomalla even still has a tattoo of him on her arm and says eh si the sweetest dude. They get along perfectly as bets friends and its always funny to see if media over here in Germany try to portray Rammstein as something evil. They are jsut playing with yall. They are the Best ! Rar are their songs without double meanings..or hidden messages...this was one of them. They are uniting the World! ..the "Buchsttabu" channel and "The Educated Marine", have most of their songs re-uploaded with subtitles.. The Maddison Square Garden was well filmed..but there are others that are better the video version.. Sonne, Adieu, Amerika, Radio,..so many.. maybe "Rammlied" opening in Maddison Square Garden and closing "Pu$$y" closing at the time, Benzin, Feuer Frei.. ..I listen one per day since a long time..
The song is also about loneliness and depression, so it's not just funny!🤷♂️

The funny thing is that this video only shows what you can see outside in real life either, especially in summer.
Countless girls show significantly more skin on TikTik and with very clear intentions and no UA-camr gets upset about it or is shocked, as is often the case with reactions to this harmless Rammstein video.
You should check out the versions on educated marine’s YT channel, he’s done some good translations of the lyrics to English and you can appreciate the music more if you understand what they sing about.

My best songs with them are Spieluhr, Links 234, feuer frei and benzin. Spieluhr is a bit hard to find any good video for, it is one not so well known song. Feuer frei should be watched live version. Then we have the reaction friendly songs like Mine tail(live), Sonne(either live or video), mann gegen mann(video), bück dich(live) and so on.

It is basically "the traditional festive clothing"/"Sunday best" in Bavaria, Switzerland, Austria = "in the Alpine regions" just for special festive occasions/events..kinda as like as the Scots wearing "kilts".

This melody is "Muss i denn zum Städele hinaus", which is actually a german traditional with text in swabian dialect (not bavarian, as the video might suggest). It would roughly translate: "Why do need to leave town, when you, my darling, must stay?"
well, just to be clear, its not just about bit b***s.... if you look at the visuals, till is blind and surrounded with girls with big Bs he soo clearly wants. So maybe, just maybe its a commentary on how we want thinks which are in our reach, but we cant see.

Even though it's a funny song, it fits into the melancholic theme of the whole album "Zeit" (time) focussing on the finiteness of life, it's implications and the futile tries to stop or rewind time.
