The cast and characters of 1923 are actually immersed in the darkest Yellowstone tale to yet, which is set during a period when abuse cases in Catholic boarding schools were pervasive across the contiguous United States.

Real Christianity didn't do this. Catholicism did that all over the world even in Central and South America. My mother told me horrors about the Catholic boarding school she went to in Mexico when she was a young girl.
True! My cousin works as a Catholic Nun in the Vatican she told me that she has met many from Mexico who came from one of these schools. And she said "If I could die 1000 times it would barely fix the damage inflicted onto the children in these schools" And as a Catholic I find it disgusting these schools existed till the 1990's.
It was all good until i saw the "based on real life"
This is very odd. Spanish Catholicism and Culture that was spread throughout the Americas and my country Filipinas did the opposite. Instead of eradicating the culture, they merely added some hispanic flair to the culture and related the indigenous faith to the Christian God and the Saints
Te equivocas los españoles hicierón cosas aun más horribles y peores en Américca de lo que hicierón los britanicos. Los españoles violoban niñas, les cortaban los testiculos a los hombres, los hacian trabajar día y noche sin comida ni agua, los empalaban por diversion al escuchar el idioma nativo, las construcciones que se construyeron fueron hechas por los indigenas y negros y no eran para ellos no habia ningun indigena con casa o tierra propia, las iglesias se construyeron en lugares sagrados de los aborigenes obligandolos a adoptar al dios cátolico, etc. Es extraño que hables de América sin siniquiera conocer como fue el genocidio español, durante la conquista por decirte que América el estudio estaba prohivido durante mas de 500 años. No romantices algo que no tienes idea de como pasaron las cosas.

@@AnahuacMex tú crees en leyenda negra, unos españoles sometieron a miles de indigenas por tener de cautivo a los descendientes del rey inca y lo principal ventaja fue su arma de polvora, lo mismo que ocurio con los chinos hicieron someter y evitar mas conflictos con los manchus, etc. Por su avance de la polvora es historia no hay nada nuevo que contar.
Los españoles eran unos genosidas peor que los britanicos esta en la historia.
