Not at all, I lane split just in two situations, with the traffic still or moving very slowly, and I never go much faster than the other vehicles.

He was going a little faster than he should have been, but not a ton. Even if he had been going 5 or 10 less the driver would still have pulled out without a blinker in front of the biker. The only time I have issues lane splitting is when people merge without blinkers. If I see a blinker I stop splitting. I will even get in front of traffic and slightly slow the lane to make room for the car that is trying to merge if I can do so safely.

To answer my own question, power folding mirrors have a small electric motor that drives a worm gear which drives a bigger gear which turns the mirror itself via a frictional connection, tensioned by a spring. The frictional connection means you can fold the mirror manually without damaging the gears, but if you do so, you have to reset the mirror by opening and closing it via the buttons. In some cases though it seems you have to reset it via an OBD scanner function.
I sparked such controversy, but it's nice to see a satisfactory resolution 😂

OMG, I don't understand these riders who get so bent outta shape when they're speeding down the middle of the road (which I don't understand how it's legal) and someone changes lanes (putting blinkers on and everything ) and they loose it. Gamma Slick and I get that part. I have road rage. Yelling is an instinct. But I would never break anything or do anything to that person. Honk and move on. I watch half of these and am able to “predict” who is going to do some stupid shit. It’s called being a defensive driver. Some of these bikers will accelerate even when someone could potentially make a right at a stop light in front of them or start turning into the lane. It’s just seeing and understanding what could happen that would save cars mirrors and potentially save bikers lives

5:48 - 100% his fault. 1st error - he should have stopped at the light. It was clearly on amber and he was doing about 10mph. Forgiving him that one, because let's face it, in the moment, we would probably all run the amber - she was clearly in the middle of the road. He rode into her path. She was mid maneuver and he put himself directly in her path and caused the crash. If she hadn't gone, the oncoming car would have, and it would have been a near miss too. He wasn't in his lane at all. He should have waited, or passed on the left. He was impatient. He's a silly billy.

Country but yep. Most of the vids you see soneone letting someone over and then some asshat on a bike tries to split through. Stopped traffic and they think its safe to filter at the speed limit.
@@RCCustomCats You should be allowed in every state to at least move to the front of traffic at a red light. It's way safer for bikes. Idk how many times that if i wouldn't have released the clutch in my mustang at a red light, i would've been rear ended.
@@karlhopkins713 oh for sure. Even the splitting is fine to relieve traffic but not at the speeds you see in most of these vids. Reckless driving and lane splitting are 2 different things.
I've seen alot of people nearly get hit crossing streets also because the cars are stopped so they assume its safe to cross not expecting someone to be hauling ass up the middle. If one of these guys ever run into a road rage where someone opens a car door they gonna be like so screwed

That accident was 100% the riders fault. 100%, no question. We don't know why she wasn't able to complete her maneuver, but for whatever reason (possibly her own stupidity, who knows) she was in the middle of a maneuver. He could clearly see that, and he rode directly into her path, also crossing into the other lane (he was on IN HIS LANE lol), all because he wanted to keep moving. His fault. Now - liability wise - I'm going to assume it came out 50/50 in the eyes of the insurers because she did proceed forward when it wasn't safe to do so. But I stand by my statement - he caused the hazard and he caused the accident. He should have waited. I filter like a demon and at times, I can be a little risky, but always in my control. He took that situation right out of his control by riding into the path of 2 vehicles.
Gotta say moto madness your videos have destroyed my hope for motorcyclists, not to mention humanity.
