Idk man looks like he was going the same speed as the car behind him. You don't know the speed he was going and you don't know the speed limit. Also if the van didn't see him IT'S THE VANS FAULT FOR NOT LOOKING. I can't just whip into traffic and be like "ah well you see officer I didn't properly check so its the other guys fault" that's not how this works.
The cammer clearly caught the biker ripping it through the intersection and continued to do so down the street, then we heard the crash. We didn't see what happens and can't make assumptions, but if you're speeding in this type of traffic conditions you can't fault the other drivers for not judging whether it's safe to change lanes or not. You're going to fast to begin with. If he did come over the 2 lanes, even with an indicator on, he still has to make sure that the way is clear before doing so.
Both drivers are at fault here from what I can tell, but there's no proof. So let this be a lesson to all drivers on the roads of what not to be doing.

Nami yeah, having your signal on does not make it safe to make a lane change. It just means you want to make a lane change. You still have to check your mirrors and your blind spot before making the lane change. Failing to do so is an illegal lane change.

I'm a biker! I don't have anything to do so I'm going to go ahead and get ready to go ride my bike around the city for no reason! I'll be going way too fast and taking corners very quickly. I'll see cars hundreds of feet away doing something that I believe is against the law, then I'll spend 5 second speeding up to them to tell them what they did wrong or shake my head and do some kind of strange hand motion with my new cool gloves. I really hope they see my gloves! I spent a lot of money on these gloves, I can do hand gestures and then people can see that I have them on my hands! I'm a biker guys!

Are you basing that from the sound, cause it sounded like he was dragging 2nd gear.i believe the car crossed two lanes just like the biker said. He tried to go around after he came into his Lane. But we will never know cause you can't see anything in the clip. And yes adrenaline will make it seem like you aren't hurt for a while.
The guy says he just tried to go around him. Why would he do that? The guy said his signal was on that mean he was going from left to right. He admitted that much. So the only reason for the bike to try and go around is to avoid someone that didn't see him.
