Update: I’ve passed Math , Social Studies and Language arts. I take science this Friday and I’ll be done with this burden that stuck with me for 10 years
Update 2: I passed the science test on December 14 with a 160. You can do it! Don’t stress yourself out! Say a little prayer , tell yourself you can do it and you’ll achieve it!!!!!
Yep the simple fact is school just doesn’t work for some people and there’s nothing we can do about it but either way I wish you luck on your journey

As a sophomore considering dropping out im stuck in the middle, i want to complete school so ion have to do the ged but at the same time school makes my head feel like its being squeezed constantly and quite frankly i dont see myself continuing down school

I'm 32 years old and currently enrolled in GED classes. I regret dropping out of high school, but I am glad I'm back on track to graduating. It is never too late !!!

Im not even a native English speaker but thanks God I scored 156 in Language Art and 166 in Social Studies. Now focus in Science and Math. I am already graduated from college 20 years ago, in my native country but I wanted to have a diploma from United States. Since the requierments they asked to validate my diploma are not easy at this time, I thougth was easier to take the Ged better.

Same here. Passed maths. Science is on the 18th this month. All for California highway patrol. I have my high school 2007, graduated University 2011 in Biochemistry. All are from foreign education, Nigeria precisely. But CHP want an American education. Sucks but doable. I got into the Army easy pizzy with my Bsc as an E4. Sucks but I am finally on my way to getting it. Next graduate studies on my mind.
I was dumb for dropping out of highschool and regret it so I’m going for my ged rn and college before I get it even more later on.

@@miketurner4113 Im thinking of dropping out again too because i can't anymore and my big problem is math. I'll never be able to learn it I hate math to the core but if i can't even pass maths in high school then i doubt l'll get my GED cause it's harder.
@@IbarraAlejandroI think you can do it if you approach it differently. I used to do well in maths 90% averages, but I got a teacher who changed my perspective on it with their teaching and exam style and I went down to consistent 30%. Because of that I hated math, but I need it to pass so I decided to do self studying and found great videos from websites like salt and light learning and YT channels like organic chemist. Now my approach to math is different and I try to have fun. Fake it till you make it as they say. Whenever I see algebra I pretend I'm decoding the password for nuclear bombs, when I see geometry I pretend I'm discovering the secrets of the universe and I know it sounds silly, but that stuff helps me take an interest and actually enjoy what I'm doing. You got this, just change your perspective, attitude and approach!
@@lilaclaza No l can't as i said l never will how can you learn something so hard that you hate with you whole spirit. Even as a kid l had problems and hated maths too. This is why l can't finish high school only due to maths :/ and lts too late for me because l'm turning 22 bro too old already. Its over
@@IbarraAlejandro it's never too late. There people 50+ years old doing their GEDs! You are only 22, you have your whole life ahead of you. Don't give up just yet. Consider getting a tutor to help you out on the things needed to pass the GED. I will be praying for you my friend!
Im 17 and had to drop out of school to help out at home im done with reading and social studies . I take science in 2 days and i am nervous but ready to be done and be a graduate!

@@siya2888take practice test over and over and you’ll start to understand what the questions are trying to ask, that’s how i did and passed it
I heading there to take my Science Test for m GED today. I’m stressing a little cause I didn’t study like I should have. My Aunt passed away unexpectedly. I was God bless and I pray for all of my fellow GED test takers today ! Remember that you can do this! We’ve done this before and we can do it again! Hopefully I don't need much studying my test in Friday and it's the last one I have to pass to get my GED . Only one I took time to study for was math
yeah I passed with a 145 I barely studied for it but I'm glad I got it out the way so I can focus on the math alone

Planning on getting my GED equivalent and getting into a community college so I can get out of my hs. I wish programs such as Chspe where commonly known

I remember back in 2014 taking GED classes and my classmate was like math is too hard so he’s giving up, I refuse to be this guy I’d rather die. It’s been 10 years since taking my first GED test I’ve passed every subject except math by 5 points. I know I have to keep going not just for me but for my family
Just did the math, figured it do the hardest first. Got 155, now taking the rest. Should be easy
I just passed my math . It was 55 questions for an hour & 30 minutes
I have passed 3/4 of the test with one week of study. Math is my last test and it's tomorrow. I have studied for math much harder then the other test I hope all goes well. it's my weakest subject.

I passed everything thing but ela test, failed three times. Math was the easiest for me and history was easy too, I failed only once on history by one point🤦🏾♂️ second time i scored I think 160 something. Science took some studying but I passed it with a high score too, now only thing left is language arts. Taking it tomorrow and I’m 1000% positive I’m going to pass it, not going to let myself fail 4 times in a row hell no🙅🏾♂️

@@hunterontheloose6321 you got this i passed my GED 4 months ago it's a great feeling trust me even if you fail a test do not be discouraged I failed the math test 8 times it was my final one also but i hanged in there and passed but unlike me you seem way smarter based on your scores lord knows i barely made it through lol so i know you got this one in the bag get it done fam 💪

I just took Science today. I studied maybe the grand total of an hour, before i took it. It was 40 questions, 90 minutes. I scored 163. There was a lot of math-ish questions that hurt my head. But other than that, it was fine. I originally only passed 6th grade, but my reading comprehension is high level because reading is a hobby of mine. I'd say anyone with a high enough level of reading can pass easily enough. Dont be scared to try.

Thanks for this. I’m always so nervous before tests. I got the highest score possible on the Language Arts test and only 10 points above passing on Math (surprisingly, because I walked out thinking I absolutely failed, since I narrowed my studying down to the wrong subject). I have my Science and Social Studies tests in March and will hopefully pass them with credit. :)

I did high school in Portugal, never dropped out, only missed 1 out of the 4 national exams you need to graduate because I moved to America. Now here we are…. 23 years old, an associates degree and working on this ged thing

@@siya2888 a little bit but most answers you get from reading the passages just pay attention to the passages and you’ll find the answers. Math is the hardest 😆

The math is 100x harder then the other subjects I failed 5 times and got 183 the 6th took me two years 4-6 hours a day studying to pass
